i don't know what SHU is but golly i hope no one that i love and care for ever goes there....how could they bring school chirldren in ....really if it was my kid....ok take em to a prison to see how bad it is....but gosh...to let them stand there and gawk at a nude man????isn't that like illegal??i don't want my son to be in prison......i am so sad after reading those post and then to further punish myself i watched a video about 9/11 taht was posted in humor and jokes under the title of this will make your skin crawl.....whewww....don't think this is going to be the day i smile much....plus i lost my tennis match son's birthday coming in4 days and he will be 26....today i am wondering if PTO is a good place for me.....maybe i caught my daugters pms..and just don't know it....course i don't have anything to pms with....the only thing that did brighten my day was....the dirty rug question....wheeew....well at least i'm not bawling any more...man....i guess it just goes to show you cant be happy all the time....and i thought i was doing so good........

I didn't read the Timothy posts. I didn't recognize the name, so I didn't know what it was about. And I didn't read the skin crawling "humor" post--------maybe it's just as well? I did get a chuckle out of the dirty rug, though, and I'm glad Cots-n-Hots cleared up that mystery for us. I'll bet he's right, too.

I love PTO and I've kind of developed a radar about which posts I want to pursue and which ones I don't. Prison is not a pretty place, and certainly a SHU isn't. There are lots of problems, pains, tears and broken hearts around prison in general, but we're here to tell it like it is and try to get each other through it. Some of us are new to it and others of us aren't. Those of us who aren't are probably less sensitive in some ways, maybe. I'm hoping you'll stay around and take what you can use that's positive and uplifting because there's a lot of that here, too.

timothys post were in the inmates forums....i know ..i am just sad to day...plus my hubby is traveling from washington today...i have found alot of uplifting stuff....like the bday cards...my son was really happy although at first he couldn't believe i gave out his stuff...he says it feels nice to get these cards even though he knows no one....crying again....gosh...it must be pms....oh and toi...i did read about you family member starting the house.....now see that is positive....ok...maybe i'll make it after all....
