well, well, to each her own! Charlotte fyi, the words papi or daddy spans over many races! I am creole and i speak french, spanish and english well! I call my man, baby, daddy, papi, good stuff, etc. And when i'm feeling just right, he doesn't understand a word that i say because i speak no english at tht time! You feel me! Now, that turns him on to no end!!! For those who connect thier fathers to the name, it is understandable that they would be uncomfortablre with it. Ah, but the true freaks of the world, well, you know!(lol,lol,lol) my man is 6ft 5in of all man and i am 5ft 4in of all woman! It does great things for our relationship, when we visit evry weekend or on the phone, even in letters! So, i'm wit ya girl! Just remember, what ever you do to get your man's attention, keep doing and adding to it! It will make for a looong relationship with lots of love!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I call my man daddy too and he LOVES it. I did it one time and he liked it so much he's been daddy ever since. Yeah he has other nicknames like baby, boo, and stuff like that but nothing does it like daddy. It goes on every letter and card now. Well he's just as bad cuz he calls me mama.

I call my man daddy, it started out as something to turn him on but it stuck because of my daughter. so now he calls me mommie and his our daddy. He loves it and i love the way he looks and feels when i say.

I think when I called him that, he thought our daughter was talking to him. When I said it's just me, he said that turned him on!

I call my man Daddy, Papi, and Papa. He also calls himself Daddy, Papi, and Papa. He calls me Mami or Lil Mami. Yes, all these nicknames turn us both on. I miss him so much! He's still going to court, so we don't know how much time he's going to get, I hope and pray that he'll be out soon. I'm craving to have my Daddy back in my arms!

Oh yeah I call him daddy ,papi, and Big Daddy too. For one my man is 6'5 and I am 5'3 in heels 5'5 and baby is solid so I have to climb up to the tree top and say daddy help me.hahahahaha. Baby loves it and I do to. When he calls me mami. I drool.

Not forgetting: Papi Chulo (Though we're both not Hispanic) I've never dreamt I'd call someone all that.... it just comes to me at the heat of the moment (phone calls, visits or letters) and He LOVES it because I'm just full of surprises

I know it turns him on, and it does the same for me

Its a long running joke between us, that NOBODY gets our sick, demented sense of humor but us... and we're just freaks.... for eachother, that is

Usually I call him baby, but sometimes he can be kind of bossy so ill say "yes daddy" sarcastically..So now ill call him daddy occasionally...And here recently he's figured out that it turns him on more when i say daddy in his ear rather than baby lol. I dont think i ever call him by his name, its always baby! One time I wrote him a letter, i said his name then followed by whatever I was telling him about, and it made him worry b/c i said his name, he thought something was wrong lol

I'm with goldenglove on this one, I never even considered it before, I used to cringe if a man called me baby, would have never in a million years thought I would ever call a man daddy (except of course my own daddy who is now deceased), I can't explain it, except to say that I love it he calls me baby, I call him daddy these are of course among a multitude of pet names we have for each other, and I thought it would seem preverse or wierd or just plain wrong, but it doesn't. No one could ever replace my daddy, but this just isn't even like that it is completely different, but completely wonderful. I love my 'daddy'.
