Exclamation Huntsville Texas visitation

I went for my visit with my husband in safep on Saturday and there was a new guard in there checking the ids. I am not sure if it was the guards or if it is the new system but I watched them turn away so many people because their drivers license did not match their visitation list exactly. And also, their names didn't match exactly. I stood in line so nervous that I had drove all this way for nothing. Of course I knew my information was right but to see all their faces and to be so disappointed I couldn'tbare that to happen to me. So just a little fyi they are checking very close down there now and one woman even made them bring in the warden to talk to her becuase she was so upset. Please make sure that your license matches their list and your names are all right because I would hate for this to happen to anyone else....

That's good info, Michelle. When you get a "New Boot" working visitation, things like this happen. Most of the old hands allow the visitors to go visit with a warning about needing to change their ID's in the future. I feel so sorry for the folks that were turned away.

I too have seen this and it is a heart breaker for the visitor and I'm sure for the offender who is wondering where his visitor is at!
