Desperate Please HELP!!!! Need Law Information

My Husband Byron has been in TDCJ custody since March of 07'. When he was being booked he found out that he has a case in New Mexico pending against him. It is filed in the Hobbs Magistrate Court. The thing is that he has never been to New Mexico and he has never been arrested there/pulled over there for any reason. This is a drug trafficking case/crack cocaine. The reason he is in TDCJ is for exsessive DWI's. My question if how can he have this against him when he has never been there and why cant I get information on the case.

Please Please Help. ANYONE!!!
