Default New rule for letters in Texas!!!

Polunsky mail room will no longer accept correspondence on colored paper.
Everyone who will use colored paper to write the letters risk having the letters rejected. They will not be delivered after October 1st.

Also - any letters being held by the guys for sentimental sake will be confiscated as contraband.

To be on the safe side it is recommended that you no longer send colored paper and if your guys are saving your letters it is recommended that they send them to you for safe keeping. Otherwise the letters they are holding will be confiscated and they will get a case written.

Please note:
Coloured Stationery Ban is only on materials supplied by vendors.
This does not affect ordinary incoming mail.

I still think they are bored to think up that rule.

I've heard something different from inmates there, and it sounds logical. People outside do not buy the paper from the vendors, but nevertheless the inmates are not allowed to own letters written on colored paper. This would mean incoming letters could still be written on colored paper, but the rule says it isn't allowed! From where do you have this info?

The stationery rule I posted above says that inmates cannot receive colored stationery from vendors - it says nothing about letters written on such.

Basically I write my letters to my friend on coloured paper and I didn´t hear anything against it so far.
