Notice to new members intending to register - from January 9th 2012

Please be aware that, due to difficulties arising from issues with Yahoo and AOL, we have changed our registration requirements.

Users with email addresses from yahoo.com, yahoo.co.uk and aol.com will no longer be able to use them to create a new account.

Lightbulb Carpooling To Walton Work Camp
My boyfriend is at Walton right now and it's so hard to carpool because walton is secluded and not really located near any other prison. So i can rent a car or will pay half the expenses to ride with someone. Children are welcome. i am located in the Tampa bay area. PM me if you are interested.

I can't wait I am going to see my Husband this weekend at Franklin C.I. I miss him so much.They just moved him to the panhandle from Reg Iv on a population adjustment transfer.Lastnight my son went to jail he is 19,there was a big family fight.Now he has 2 felony charges...I cant believe this ,My husband and now my son,My husband is not my sons father,But now both men in my life are in prison/jail.I'm so looking forward to seeing my Husband,But torn .when will life get easier ???

Hi, I live in Polk county, Winter Haven area and my husband is a Hamilton Annex in Jasper Florida. I am planning to go and see him at the end of this month. I have a good car and need someone to go with me and split the cost... I have a friend that may go, but not sure as yet. Her hubby is close by.. I was just wondering if anyone would like to go and visit their loved one the weekend of the 24th and 25th.. IF there is just the two of us, we can split the cost. ( I doubt that my friend is going, but hope she may) any how, I can drive just need someone to go and split the cost.. It cost so much to go by yourself... you can PM if you like....
I hope there is someone out there in PTO land that wants to go and visit.. Please if you are crazy and do anything you should not do, while visiting dont respond. Hate to be so blunt about it but thats just me...

I don't have a car at the moment, but would be willing to pay gas money for a ride to FSP. (Raiford/Starke). Once I get a car, I would love to carpool with someone!

hi my bf is in FSP west unit. my visitation just got approved but im all about car pooling to save on cost. do you drive from south florida every wkend to visit?

where in orlando are you? im trying to go and visit this weekend i live near conway. we might be able to work something out if you could help with gas btw my name is christina. my bf just got moved to fsp about a month ago

I am new to prison talk. ironically my BF who is currently at FSP west told me to join. My visitation just got approved and i am looking to carpool with someone. your car or mine. it doesnt matter as long as the cost of gas is shared. im not planning on visiting sat and sunday but i can.... anyways hopefully someone responds..... its been so freaking lonely w/o jason <3 but i know he will be home soone than later. thnx for any responses christina

I think I will be at Hamilton Memorial Day week-end. You know we can visit on Monday, too. I live in south-west Florida. I would be glad to meet you in town, or at the facility parking lot. I'll know sooner to the end of May.

My hubby is at Hamilton annex and I am planning on going up for the 3 day weekend. Would love to have someone to car pool with. .( I do have a very dependable car and its good on gas) Its so far up there and if some of us could get together and car pool up and perhaps share a room that could save alot of us some money.. hope to hear back from those who would like to go that route.

Can anyone tell me info about traveling to Century Correctional without a car? Is there a bus or cab service? I am growing anxious as i have never been to this area of Florida and I'm flying in from NY. I would greatly appreciate any info.

I still am looking for someone that hopefully will want to go and share with me, when I go to Hamilton for the Memorial Day weekend.... I have a great car that is wonderful on gas.. Its a long way up there and would love the company. And to share expenses.. anyone interested please PM me...

I have not been to Century yet. My husband was transferred there a couple of weeks ago. I would like to know your experience after you visit. I have been to Destin, Santa Rosa Beach, Defuniak Springs all in Walton County. Once you get away from the beach communities it is a rural area. I guess I would be surprised if there is a bus or shuttle but there could be. I hope some others write you on this question. Good luck.

Thank you for your reply. My visit is this week and I am so nervous and the fact that i havent found transportation hasnt helped. It seems like the cost of the trip keeps going up but I feel it will be all worth it to see him. I will keep you posted of the venture to CI. Good luck on your visit.

Default Need Help Visiting June 12 & 13
Hi everyone,
I'm new on here and I am desperately looking for help to get to Century CI this coming weekend. I have booked my flight as I am coming from NY but was searching for local transportation. A cab representative just estimated a one way ride $95. Thats way too expensive with all the other costs and that I would like to go both days. Is anyone planning to go visit on June 12 and 13? I wouldn't mind sharing the cost if you are carpooling.

Please let me know or if you have any other information that may help. I would hate to cancel my trip. Thank you in advance!
