yes i am a felon, that's how we met, is we were locked up together in county(he was a trustee, lol but we actually got a lot of time together). it actually helps a little becuase i have some idea of what he is going thru and know how important my support it to him. it was a stupid mistake i made 8 years ago when i was 19, got put on prob and violated by wreckless driving. thank goodness i am off of it forever in aug. this is going to be an issue with our visitation. i'm going to write a letter. the parole site says you cant be on probation, so we may have to wait till aug. or request a special visit. we just gotta keep praying. we've both made a lotta mistakes in our past, but now we're on the right path, thank you Lord. without Him we couldn't do it

I spent almost a month in jail for driving while suspended (I didn't even know my liscence was suspended) and then When I was 19 I had a subpnea to appear as a witness for a trial ( I don't remember getting that letter either) and I was put in for a weekend for contempt of court. So I have just like minor offenses because I use to have a bad habit of throwing away alot of my mail or laying it down and not opening it for months LOL; needless to say I don't have that problem anymore. I even open junk mail

Nope! Not even a speeding ticket, BUT... if I had a ticket for each time I was pulled over for speeding.... my oh my! But they never ask you that. They always say have you ever had a ticket? Well, no officer.... they never ask how many times have you had this same conversation with a police officer... and since they never ask, I never tell...

Yes I have a record from years back. I have never been to prison though (good old England). These were my crimes......
Assaulting a police officer
Dinking and driving
Driving without a licence
ABH (similar 2 agg assault)
I am not proud of any of them........well mayb the assaulting a PO I got hefty fines for them, but have not been in trouble with the law for more than 15 yrs now and hope neva 2 b again.

Only had one speeding ticket for me, thank God!!!!!! Not saying I did not do anything wrong back in the day but, thank God I never got caught.

I have a record but its mostly minor stuff that happened when I was very young. Even my husband hasn't been in any trouble for a lot of years. This is the first time we are going through anything like this and God-willing, the last.

I voted no because it's since been expunged.
I did less than a day in the county for driving on a suspended DL. My DL was suspended because of speeding tickets. Going to jail for driving on a suspended DL is the equivalent of getting a ticket for jaywalking.

Tickets - as a teenager I got a racing on the highway ticket, and since then a couple of speeding tickets, but nothing for at least ten years now. Never arrested.

Yes I do, when the police raided our house I was there too and because the lease was in both of our names they charged us both with the same crime, when I went to court the judge told me that I was not cooperating with the police so I must be guilty too, I ask him that when they read me my rights it stated that I had the right to remain silent so why was I being punished for upholding my rights by being silent and I said it right in front of the DA, the whole court room got quiet and instead of him giving me the same sentence as Rob got (8 years) he gave me 60 days in the county jail.

I don't have a 'record' per se.. just a few minor things. I've spent a couple nights at the station but nothing serious. Driving without a lisence, disorderly conduct, during sweep [night that the police roll around and pretty much take in anyone that looks like they may be a gang member] The day the police broke down my door and raided my house. Blegh. If you hate police.. stay away from chicago. My girl spent 25 days in county and said that it's the most disgusting place she has ever been. Half the women in there are either dope sick prostitutes or just flat out 'un-housebroken' as she put it lol. My problems are more legal. Being sued for an impounded car, lied on my taxes & now I'm paying out the ass for my mistakes ;x

Only thing that comes relatively close to trouble is "failing to yeild". My officer didn't even show up on my court date, so it was dismissed :]

No record and I also have a crispy background. Thank God because I wouldn;t be able to get into the Nursing program to become a Registered Nurse. It's not worth it to get into trouble because in the long run, it catches up with you.
