Default Jpay forum post

There is a post on the jpay forum a woman comes on talking about how this girl that beat her up and it was real violent only got 120 daye shock and the girl(victim) felt it should have been more. Anyway she goes on to say the girl is out after only 60 days of the 120 shock!! This is posted in the MO forum. So I assume the girl was in Vandalia? Is that the only womans prison? My question is this.... how did this girl get out with only 60 days of a 120? I didnt think that was possible on a 120 shock?
Yes, im fully aware my fiance wont be getting out early on the 120. So that isnt why I posted. I just didnt think it was possible for someone to get out early on 120. I guess I kinda posted it for a hmmm kinda thing or something to think about. Also if anyone else has had this happen to someone they know.

Kim

I do know that on Hubby's court papers it says a max of 120 days. I do know of one case in Christian county where DCO kept "forgetting" to pick a guy up for his 120. After about a month the judge decided to let him out and put him in a civilian rehab program. So I guess it does happen, just not too often.

There are two women's prisons in Missouri. Chillicothe on the western side of the state and Vandalia on the eastern side. Both are busting at the seams with inmates. They are beyond overcrowded there. It is not unusual for women to do less time because of this.

9 times out of 10 females will stay at Vandalia, because that is the institution that has the treatment center. I guess it depends on how they were sentenced, if it was a 120 treatment or a 120 shock. 120 shock doesn't neccessarily mean they have to go to the treatment. But whenever they are on a 120 anything, they are still under the judges orders, so at any point and time the judge can call them back and release them. Maybe this chick had an attorney that went to the judge for her. Who knows the different situations.
