Get Together in Upstate NY (Rochester/Buffalo)

Anyone interested in getting together after the Holidays?
I'm in the Roc but would love to have us Rochesterians and Buffalonians get together in fun and love!

I know we all need to get out and let our hair down sometimes, and who better to do it with than someone who understands your situation w/o question.

Cool! Well my plans are to do a monthly get together. Dinner, an event or just a women's circle to create a dialogue that allows us to vent, celebrate, release and communicate.

For people in the area who want to get together more often, maybe twice a month. I have tons of ideas as I was an events coordinator for some major corps, law firms and higher learning institutions.

I know that I get lonely sometimes and not everyone can 'get' what we deal with, so I really would like to link up with some of the other women in my area.

For people in your situation who are near but far, we can do special events to make sure that we ALL are included. Feel free to PM me with your email if you'd like to be kept up to date on things.

Hello to all! My guy just got moved to Auburn (another adjustment to the DOC folks "in charge" :shake: !) I was gravely ill over the holidays, but now am well enough to visit tomorrow at his new "digs." Haven't seen each other since Christmas Day...

Hey Ladies!

I'm sooo sorry to leave you hanging, but I really had to leave Rochester before I let that man make me totally lose my mind. If you find my thread "He got married while in jail" you'll understand why.

There is an art gallery downtown ROchester that you can rent for $50 owned by some brothers that is absolutely gorgeous and the art is crazy nice. You'd provide your own food, but its cheap and the location is nice.

I'll help any way that I can from here.

Hey All! i'm in MD now and loving life thus far. I hope you continue to try and get together. I'm going to try and do something my way now, and hey... it doesn't matter who comes. We can even meet in the middle.

I'm considering doing more of a RETREAT, a weekend thing, masseuse, catered (nothing too expensive - we spend enough on our kids and holding down these men).

I'll pop in and out and keep you posted. If a retreat midway sounds good, lemme know. We can share rooms, share expenses, even bring meals instead of going out spending more money. Sight see a little, or just sit by the pool (cause the hotel gotta have a pool) and fellowship.
