Default Why Can't... (wants to know about out date)

Why can't my man just give me a date when he's going to get out? It keeps drastically changing.. I'm beginning to think that he keeps changing the date out of fear of me leaving, but it's getting really annoying. Does anyone know if I can call his case worker and ask when he's getting out, is it possible that he may not really know? I', just so confused about his sentence.

Ask him for his sentencing paper work,,he got it. If not I am not good at Pacer but maybe someone here can help you find out on line.
But I just dont like going behind people's backs. I would just tell him to send it to me in black and white before I pay for the records and find out.that alone should be enough for him to cough up something.
would u leave if the sentence was longer than expected,,maybe you need to reassure him so he can spill it,,,good luck be patient

In texas we can just call the texas department of criminal justice and they will give us the max out date- how long they can hold them- they will tell us of upcoming parole hearings- so we actually don't have to ask the inmate or if we think they are lieing, we can call and get sound information.. try that.

We can do the same thing here in Indiana. Our state DOC website has an inmate locator that tells the facility, the charges and the out date. The out date can change if they earn time cuts, or if they get disciplinary infractions, but that info will update on the locator so you can track it. It is free to check this on the state websites.

LostEverything, how drastically?

When I first started writing Yawnco, his outdate was in March, it kept changing and changing until he finally got out on September first. Just a couple of weeks before his maximum date. But, it was because he kept getting minor tickets. So, it kept getting pushed back.

I mean it's not really that big of a deal the thing is that he's been in since July, we were very lucky in him getting a very leanit sentence for his crime. He was sentenced to 10 years but had 7 suspended. He then said that out of the 3 years that he was to serve that, that amount of time would be split in half and he would really only be gone for about a year and a half. Now we still do have a bit of time left as he's only been gone since July 1st, it seems like forever especially around the holidays. The thing about it is since he's a first time offender... hopefully last he is eligible for bootcamp. If he were to get approved for bootcamp it would supposingly cut his sentence down. I have promised him so many times that I would not leave him, even if he had to serve the full 3 years, I just want to be emotionally prepared for the chance that he does have to stay for the full 3 years, and thats whent he confusion comes in... so were looking at like a year and a half difference (yawncosbabygirl). Not only is the dates changing but so are the locations sometimes he says that he is approved for bootcamp other times he says that he's not. He has also told me that when completing bootcamp he would come up to Hagerstown MCI or MCTC something like that, which would be a great help since now I have to drive almost 2 hours to see him (sorry ladies I know some drive days to see theres). When I go to see him tomorrow I'm going to straight up ask him, alot has to do with the fact to that I am finacially struggling right now and have moved in room mates.. not to his liking, but oh well he's not here to help witht he bills right now. I need to be able to give them a date of when they have to be out because I just want it to be me and him when he is released. He is also elidible for parole in March.. and I am not sure what that's all about either. I'm just so confused, so now he has told me his max out date and his projected release date, but he keeps telling me that he will be out a lot sooner. I just wish he would stick to one specific date and leave it.
