It happens more than people think. I know from experience. Ive been a c/o for 10yrs. Seen some disgusting things in there. Caught some things on camera & everything. Not saying that all do it but the numbers are extremely high. Guys u wouldnt dare imagine do it. IMO, U just nevet know unless they tell you.

I made a few jokes & he always laughed, & said ill get you back with those jokes. but eventually said stop being disrespectful & wasn't cool.. but both aware just jokes because we're both jokers! He doesn't approve of his 17 yr old daughter being with a girl, so highly doubt he'd do a guy..

This thread is pointless.. No man is gonna admit this to his girl or wife and no gf or wife is gonna admit it on this thread!! Has nothing to do with how "manly" someone is.. Cause believe me I know a couple of hard, thuggish dudes that were locked up together that are now togther out in the free world and they were both in relationships w females when they went in!! Also there's a few times in visiting that I've seen dudes with their wives and kids and my boo has told me they messed with dudes in there! So it doesn't matter how manly one looks or if someone gets offensive when asked! I do believe some are just gay for the stay.. Whether its just receiving oral sex or whatever.. It's more common than people would admit and I'd bet $100 on it that one of the husbands or boyfriends behind this post has messed with a dude in some shape or form!! HAPPY MONDAY LOL.

I asked my man about this and he said no. He is as manly as a man gets and my bf has done a 7-8 year prison stint. He said it happens with female COs though.

I think the question would need to be clarified: have you been with a man for pleasure or have you been subjected to prision initiations/punishment ie rape. Personally, i don't know why you need to ask something so personal: if you have a relationship that's built on trust, deep love and support, if something happened good, bad, pleasurable or painful, they would feel safe enough to bring that up if it needed to be shared/or discussed. As they say, if you go digging for dirt, you'll probably find it.

mine would catch a charge if someone tried lol but I can tell you honestly my ex...I think he was when he was down....I don't know why he was SO homophobic when he came home and wouldn't let any man joke like that or let anyone ever touch his butt not even me lol

I agree. My man only has a short time but he's told me plenty of guys are really openly sexual with each other even after only being in for a few weeks. He was shocked that plenty of hetrosexual guys don't think what happens on the inside counts as gay. My man doesn't agree thankfully, lol.

No, he has not been with another man and if any man tried to touch him in an inappropriate way he would not have much life left in him, when he got done with him. He would surely get time added to his sentence, along with some new charges.

I do not believe it is very common, but I do not know of any statistics.

No he hasn't. He has told me about how a couple of the guys in his unit go and shower together and do the dirty. He was pretty disgusted by it one night so I'm sure he wouldn't.
I found a joke once and almost sent to him but didn't want to offend him, "Surprise sex is the best thing to wake up to, unless you're in prison." My Mom is always sendin jokes and quotes to me and coincidently she recently sent it to me and said this joke was for B. I told him it was from her and he laughed but said he was going to get her for that because that just isn't cool. Lol he had a good sense of humor about it at least but that's the last prison sex joke I send.

If you ask my gay brother ALL men even the straightest manly men you can think of will do a dude. That I do NOT believe. I am not one who believes in "gay for the stay". If they are doing it in there they were at the very least bi-curious out here and being on the inside just presents them with a good opportunity. I mean for real, if I got locked up there is no way I would willingly go with another woman. It isn't my thing and I have never had an interest in it. I think for some that lean bi and have never acted it just provides a platform for them to act on those feeling without anyone ever finding out. As for my man, I highly doubt it and don't believe he ever has or would, if I did find out our relationship would be over. I refuse to be married to a man who sleeps with anyone other than me, be it man, woman, or single celled organism. I am faithful and expect the same. I will say I think this is one of the most feared things of having someone in prison and probably for the most part people are worrying for nothing. While it goes on, as many of my co family members will tell you, prison is not one big orgy where everyone is doing everyone contrary to what tv will have you believe.

Lol he has a horrible sense of humor about it... He had just gotten out of county and his moms bf walked out with his shirt off and my wonderful bf whistled and yelled "oooh you sexy! Better put that shirt back on my girls getting jealous!"

I agree..from being an employee at the DOC I saw some pretty crazy stuff..for example, one guy inparticular openly admitted to me that he slept with other men..He had a wife and children on the outside and told me that it was only this way while he was in, btw...a short sentence, a few years!! But, I will tell you, I completed the Medical Discharges at in this state, an HIV test must be completed upon release. So, yeah, you never, never know!!

okay i might sound stupid here but this is my first time with somebody in prison (also is boyfriends first time) i cant help but shake the feeling of being worried about this.. i think i may just be paranoid but if this does happen in there do others find out? would others tell people and i think would it get back to me if it did happen?? my boyfriend is a fairly big pushover and has a bit of a little man syndrome (hes not tiny just not very built) hes only about to turn 20 and he is very very good looking.. i cant help but think some prisoners in jail are going to think its christmas with him being in there and try do things to him also a bit warey that if hes in there and that enviroment becomes his norm if that sort of behaviour is the norm he will take place in it too :/ i could just be paranoid i am about pretty much everything in this situation but if he did there is no way on earth i would stay with him not even if i just heard it happened without being a hundred per cent sure.. i know it sounds bad but nothing turns me off more, a man is meant to be a man and i believe if you do that you are gay no in between.

The thought of him willingly participating in sexual acts with a man, has never crossed my mind. I know he would never. However, he is a very attractive man, and he isn't as built as other men, so a part of me does worry that he'd be looked at as "fresh meat". Then again, all I know about prison, I watched on TV, so I'm sure prison rape isn't as common as I believe, and sexual deviants are looked down upon in the system anyways. I'm 100% positive if someone made him feel sexually threatened, he would catch another charge.

I used to ask my man all the time. I even used to rephrase the question to address gray area (to include oral sex). My man was a good sport in the begginning. He let me ask and he told me no. I asked one too many times and, finally, he bout cussed me out. He said men that do that in there, hand homosexual leanings on the outside. When I asked him if I had to worry about him getting raped, he said that there are too many that are willing, so there was no need to take it. I am not and was not worried about my man's sexuality. I was concerned about prison culture. I had a cousin that did time when I was younger and he came saying that when you are in "you are either pitching or catching...no exceptions". I used to watch OZ when it first came out. So I was under the impression that normal rules don't apply behind the walls. You are either a willing participant or a target.

My man is in the federal system on the low end (he's now in a camp), so I tend to feel that his environment is not like that of being in a hardcore state lock up. I dont' think my man engaged in any homosexual activity...but I aint no fool. He will be getting tested before we have unprotected sex.

No. Hes done 5 years out of an 11 year sentence, hasn't happened yet, wont happen later. Hes straight, always has been, always will be reguardless of how much time he serves, bars dont change your preference. I can tell you, if i was locked away for a good amount of time i certainly wouldn't be hooking up with females. I dont care how bad i want it, i'll never need it that bad... Truthfully, we're still having sex, him and i. Its just a different form of sex. Its not like hes completely deprived :P
