The Headed to Prison Forum Intro

I have opened this forum mainly because we have a number of members who are facing terms in prison.
I was fortunate enough myself to land a self-surrender order after sentencing for my own federal case instead of being taken into custody, or never getting out on bond in the first place.

Nevertheless.. There were so many things I wanted to know about prior to turning myself in but I didn't have a clue, nor did I know any one who could tell me anything other than what a book stated.

So.. for all of you who are looking at incarceration, or have loved ones in county jails or other institutions awaiting transfer to prison, this is the forum to find out what to expect.. Not to mention personal support.
