Default Belmont Correctional Institution (BCI)

My boyfriend is at the Mahoning County Jail right now waiting to be sent to Lorain, he'll only be kept there for awhile. I don't know where he will go next but we hear he might be going to Belmont, can anyone tell me anything about it?

My son has been at Belmont since July. Depends if he is in camp (minimum security) or in house. My son is in house and he says it's not bad. The co's are fairly decent where he's at.Then that depends on the amount of respect you give them. There are several different in houses there. When he gets there they'll stick him in with the rough housers until they figure out where they're going to put him. They'll transfer him to the camp or the house. If he is in a house and wants to move he can request to be moved to another house. The food there isn't the best and my son says it's never enough to fill you up.

Belmont is minimum security, so they are not as restricted as maximum. I know the phone can be used until 11p.m, thats nice, unstead of 9p.m. There they have a little more freedom.

(((lml34))) Welcome to PTO and the Ohio Forum. It's not unusual for you to feel nervous. I'm sure he'll be okay. As long as he follow their rules and stay out of trouble.
