I just confirmed that the new rate for a 15-minute call from Lawton Correctional Facility is $3.60/call. Phone service is managed by CTI (Conversant Technologies, Inc.). If you need to prepay for service, the minimum deposit is $70.00 plus a $5.00 processing fee. You can call 972-964-7010 or visit prepaycollect.com to purchase prepaid time.

The minimum has since gone down to $50.00, thankfully.

Do either of you have service on your c-phone? At one point I had my calls forwarded to my cell, but I can't afford to have my land line. Now that I am temporarily back in my home state of Arizona I'm beside myself on how or what I can do re-establish phone communication with my loved one. Glad to hear the minimum payment is now at $50!

I seem to remember them telling me that I could set up service on my cell thru CTI, but you have to keep in mind that if you drop the signal or get disconnected as you sometimes do they aren't going to do anything about it for you. The best I could suggest is just to call them and see what they can set up for you, I don't think the prices are any different whether its a cell or land line, so that probably won't be your issue.

Thanks FA! I should just call and ask, but I thought it was un-acceptable to have c-phone service thru CTI. Yea, I asked about the $3.60 per 15 minute phone call and was told it was for the full 15 minutes and if we talked less than that there went our $3.60.
