I know they are now able to have money taken out of there account to put on the phones and call like that but my question is do they take out any transaction fee. I pre pay my phone and every $50 i put on the phone they take $9 out. Do the inmates have to pay a fee when they put money on the phone or no?

Hey Mrs. is that thru GTL? Because the DOC guy in Boston told me that they can't charge you that in MA. What they do is discount the calls.

I get 2 calls for the $40.

Jon said that the new system will save us TONS of money!

Yes it is through GTL. I know they are discounting the calls but when i put money on my phone they take a transaction fee out. If my hubby does the money on his end will they take a transaction fee out of no?

As far as I know, they dont get charged anything. And the calls are definitely cheaper.

Thank God, they finally did something in our favor!!! LOL

Hey ladies,
So I use GTL and my friend told me that they should not be taking out any money 5. or 9 each time and his friend's girl got a refund for all the money they did take out. I am looking for the same answer you are about when it comes out of their account & can we add my phone with credit card at any point?
