Hey, sorry if I sounded a tad harsh. For what it's worth, the pendulum is swinging away from the government killing its citizens. 2008 is shaping up to have the fewest executions and new death sentences in many years. My state just abolished the death penalty and it appears that Maryland may be on its way to doing the same thing.

I hope that your loved one wins a reprieve. Good luck to both of you, and anyone else in that situation.
