Hi everyone. I'm new to pto as well. It's been 7 years and it'll be at least 5 more and I sometimes feel nervous that we won't click or be in love when we're finally together again without prison being apart of the equation. I feel that nothing can separate us truly. But what if all the time causes a rift? Ohh. Can anyone relate? I guess I'm just reaching out. My family and most of my friends aren't supportive of my choice to wait. I don't have anyone to share this stuff with. Thx for listening. Xo

Default Intro Jazzy_baby

I'am new as well. My boyfriend is doing 25-life on 3 strikes. He is working on year 13 and goes up for parole in 2018 I believe that I serve an amazing GOD and as long as we keep our faith and remain faithful he will be coming home. Maybe I am setting myself up for heartbreak on that day, but if I doubted it I am afraid it would hurt more now. He got two of his 3 strikes at the age of 16 and the incident that happened when he was 20 made it all a wrap. I would love a texting buddy a suppost system any one that lives in the bay area that could use a new friend. The days get ruff and the nights seem so long at times. It would be nice to make friends that can understanding the emotions I go through.

Unhappy Daily struggle

Great to see everyone. My boyfriend and I met while he was incarcerated in an Illinois federal prison. It's been about 5 years. We have 10.5 to go I'll take it day by painful day cuz I love him to pieces. It's good to know I'm not alone.

I had been on here in October when my fiance got sentenced, but then we had some hope that his sentence would be decreased. That has since been shot down and we are at 15 years. So I will introduce myself again. I am having a hard time and am glad I got back on this particular forum. There is alot of encouragement knowing I am not alone.

Well, I too am new to this site. Both PTO and long haulers. I will definately be around for a long time. My husband is still awaiting sentencing but is facing a minimum manditory of 15 yrs. but it could be as high as 30 depending on what the judge sees fit. I sometimes wonder if we can really do it we had such a relatively short time together before all this went down, but no matter what happens I will always love him so here I am...

Hello everyone, I've browse around the forums a lot and don't really post things. However I'm friends with a gentleman who is serving a long sentence (25+ yrs). So here I am. I must say I wish I would of found out about the PTO 11yrs ago. You have open my eyes to a lot of things I didn't see. A very big thank you for being here for those of us who need understanding, help, support and just being there to listen.
