Lightbulb Karl Chamberlain TX RIP

I would like to thank everyone who sent and or faxed in letters of clemency for Karl. I know wherever he is, he appreciates them, too.

I was with Karl when he was executed (murdered) on June 11, 2008 as a wittness and a friend. the media has stated one of his half sister's was there and his spiritual advisor Mitch, but i'm not going to "out" anyone else. i wish you all knew karl as we did, a brilliant mind. i'm grateful all of us who came to see him in person (many he called as thhey couldn't for many reasons), as we stuck together in our little group bouncing from hotels to hotels. it was insta family, karl already told me about everyone and i'm sure he did this for everyone, too. the american media has been very innacurate. if you search and find a story please email it to me at (Please PM member) and put karl media in the subject. we mainly hung around these two great guys from denmark who were shooting a documentary. if you have any personal questions of the execution email me at the hotmail address as i don't check here often. also if you are going to be a wittness for someone you write i'll definitely be there and do the best i can to prepare you.

i do thank karl for all my new friends, he's left quite a legacy. it's been wonderful to be with those who love and understand karl as we do.

thank you again. i will heal (if it's possible) and start writing again it's easier to do it one at a time in a place like texas...but i will stay involved until the death penalty is abolished or i die trying. there is so much pain of losing karl. but again, i thank you for the clemecy letters and those of support. it's lovely when people will do things for strangers like this. i have some hope for the future. i encouage you all to write as well. be cautious, if you have doubts you can call the prision that houses death row in your states, ask to speak to the chaplain, and get recommendations that way. they know who does and doesn't get letters, visitors, and commissary. that's another essential, when you write, ask them if they need money for commissary to purchase paper, pens, stamps, and envelopes. i thank all of you for your support.

thanks again,
amy

I was thinking about Karl today. One time I went to visit him and he was laughing really hard when he came in. He said he had gotten a thing in the mail for life insurance. Not something that was particularly funny, but to him it was. He was funny that way.

That did make me laugh too. It is ironic. Remember the good things, the good times and always feel free to share, talk or whatever is in your heart.

T am sorry for your loss. I was one of the ones that made the calls. Did what I could do, to not make that execution happen. I am a member of Facebook.

Again, I am very sorry for your loss.
