I have a name tattooed on me but it is my step-dad who died of cancer. Always said I would not get a b/f's name just because too much chance of us breaking up and then I am stuck with a reminder. But that is just my choice.

I got have my married name on my chest (which is what the call my ex husband) and my daughters name on my arm. I thought about getting my mwi initials would could have been meant to be anything but decide against it when i got to the tattoo parlor. instead I got a strawberry half dipped in chocolate, something we came up with together. I did have him thinking for about a week that I got his name but I will never put a man's name on me. Besides he did not want me to get his name anyway. He had 8 tats and none of them are of a women's name. Not even his mother. So I would not go against his wish and get his.

When my man asked me how serious I was about our relationship, I told him that I was serious enough to have his name tattoed on my lower back and he wrote back and said ok I know you're serious now but don't do it because he went through that once before and it didn't work out but if he were to ever change his mind, I'd do it in a heart beat and wear it with pride because I know that he is my soulmate.

I have always been agasint getting a name tattooed on me that wasn't family or my kids when I have them.

But I have been really thinking about getting Angelo's intials on me which is A.R. He writes A.R at the end of his letters and its soooo nice. I have been thinking about getting that on my foot or my lower back to the side.

I love tattoos I have 4 and want a bunch more =)

We both have eachother's name on our left ring finger, a promise to never take off our ring! It's between us, but we did it! And I won't regret it. I love my husband.

I am considering it. Weird for me, because I fear the pain and never wanted to have anything permanent on me. But...I love him so much. I am really thinking about it. Of course, he would design it.

A week ago today i got my boyfriends name tattooed on my back little bit below my neck;even with my shoulders. I didnt tell him i was doing it and when i told him he was suprised and said "now baby jsut because you got that tattoo dont mean you love me more than i love you" :]

I have my husband's name tattooed on me twice. I have his nickname as well. I also have our last name on my shoulder. I have 12 tattoos in all and he has drawn all of them. I have no regrets and I love my art. He is the one for me. I proudly carry his name with me always.

I've always thought I'd NEVER get a tattoo, ESPECIALLY for a relationship but I think realistically if I've found my soul mate for real then there's a good chance. But then again I'm not into girls with tattoos so I'm guessing it won't come up

I'd get a piercing lol... does that count??

mine got my name on his wedding ring finger facing away.. I told him it was upside down to him, he said I know what it says, I want everyone else to know.. I told him not to, cuz I don't know many that have done it that stay together. I have my 1st hubby's name on my arm and he has the same tattoo on his.. my kid's Dad has my name on his chest.. I want to get Brent's last name or his doc # (he don't want me to do the doc #) tattoo'd on the back of my neck or get Princess (what he calls me) on my lower back.. I haven't got the money right now, so I will have to wait til I do, but I plan on it.. I look at it this way, in order to get a tattoo of anything on you, you should feel strong enough to be able to see it and it bring you joy, calm, and peace, even if you are not together, remember the good times. May not make sense to some, but does to me.

me and T agreed to not get each others names tat on us, because he already did that with one g/f and regrets it. So I decided that instead I will wait for him to give me a tat that means a lot to both of us. I will let him design it and give it to me and everything.

I had a Property of tattoo done on my back before he went up to state prison. I also did it as a surprise and he said that it really made him feel a little more at ease knowing that i would for sure be there when he came home. The tattoo gave him that, so would I do it again Hell ya in fact I did his and my name intertwined together around my ankle. Good luck. I am very proud of mine I hope you will be with yours as well.

I actually got his name tattooed on me - twice! Once because we had talked about it and we both got the tats (his on me, mine on his) and once as a surprise.

Yes I have tattooed my mans name on me back in the day like 97 we split up in 99 and I covered it up and here we are again 10 years later and I got his name on me once again. He also had my name on him back in the day and covered it up and he got it once again and is now getting my portrait also. I don't care if people think I am stupid for doing it cause to me its how I feel right now and at this time in my life, if it doesn't work out this time around I will not cover it up because I feel he is the only man that I will love this way again.
