My husband got notification about two weeks after they got it that they had it, at least he said "They just let me know they got the visiting form" I had a note to him with it. I was trying to find the address to send it directly to the visiting department. So I could send a second one.

That's a good sign. If you send the form to the inmate (most of the time) the mail room will take it out and stamp the envelope indicating they removed the visiting form. Try calling and ask how long it is taking for approvals. Let them know you sent your visiting from in over 6 weeks ago and would like a status. Sometimes you get lucky and one of the officers will be willing to help!. Good luck!!

Reception doesn't need an appt. You go in, fill out the little paper give it to the officers with your id and they check you in search your stuff through the metal detector on to visiting. No facial piercings one piece of jewelery no underwire in your bra nothing to form fitting no flipflops no jeans all you can bring in is a key and your id. That's about it.

Default Visiting Dept.'s Mailing Address?

I just received my visiting questionnaire this morning. I would send the form back to him, but I know it's the holidays and he hasn't even gotten my letters that I mailed on 12/14.

I wanted to send in mine, his brother's, and his mother's visiting form directly to the visiting dept. I've tried calling yesterday and today, but no answer after 2mins of ringing...hey it's the holidays.

Does anyone have the mailing address for visiting approvals?

Thanks advance for your help!

What you do is mail it back to the inmate and the mail room will pull it out and send to the visiting dept. They will also let the inmate know that they did this. One important note; the form MUST be signed by the inmate prior to you mailing in. If he has not signed write him and tell him he must do this prior to mailing to you.

Mailed in my form yesterday so I'm hoping I get approved quick as well

Side note. My inmate mailed me a Spanish version and he did not have to sign the back of the page...I called the visiting dept. and she said that the Spanish version does not have that included. I was in shock and she was like yeah we need to update that form because it's pretty old...hahaha.

I'm secretly shaking though because I don't want that to be some reason to not be approved even though she reassured me. We'll just wait and see!
