Maybe tell him to say to staff he needs 6 for family members. Might not want him to say he needs 6 all for you.

LOL!! My husband sent me like 15 visiting forms when he got to reception and every now and then (who knows why) he sends me more. LOL!! = )

I sent my hsband the postcard and he sent me back two Signed forms. LOL. Although he had already sent me like four unsigned ones.So now I guess I will join the waiting game too. How long should I wait before I start calling to see if they received it or not?

just an fyi...my husband sent me one that he forgot to sign...and i called and asked the visiting sargent if that was going to pose a problem and he said no, as long as i sign it it will be fine....

When I called today they said they did not receive my application which I sent in over a month ago. I am so angry that I have to start all over again and wait for him to get my post card to resend me some applications and mail it back and wait and wait. So I then asked how long does it normally take for you get the appliaction and she said within 2 weeks.

Its still happening to me

i sent 2 in june one inside a letter an another dierectly to the visting office i called a few days ago an they said they still dont have it

i havent seen my bf since he transferred there which was in may this is really a headace.

The same here. I sent my application via Express Mail w/ Delivery Confirmation to the Visiting department and the prison received it July 8th. I call every Monday and he woman tells me they still haven't received it either. I am starting to think either they pick and chose whose application they want or they're just not processing them!! Some one at the prison isn't doing their job!!

I am hesitant to call and make waves about it, since my Husband has such a short time left and is most likely paroling from there.

True thats what im thinking also i know my forms made it there they just havent entered it in there system mail doesnt take that long to get to them its just there slow reaction to the mail an ect... these are people that we care about so much an it seems like it doesnt matter to them unless it happening to them. That part that really pisses me off is that all you can do is call.why should i have to be approved to see sum one behide glass anyway its just a headace

.my bf will be out soon but it still would of been nice to see him i havent seen him in almost 4months an that was wen he was in the county.He been in since last year but he says he gets out right after my bday which is Sep 10 so im assuming he'll be home mid sep

Thats a longtime for approval! So would you guys advise to mail more than one visitor form for each person?

For everyone that you want to visit you have to fill out a form. Unless it's your kids then you don't have too. But if it is different family members you need a seperate form... right ladies?

Yes, that's right. Each adult prospective visitor must fill out their own application and get approved.

i'm not sure about that one girl...but guess what my husband told me today that they gave him a reciept that they received my application august 6th!!!!!!!!!!! whoo hoo, now i just gotta wait for it to be approved...ooh how slow the time goes!

august 3rd....we are on this! lol we want to see eachother ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!!

so its been 22 days today since they have it, so maybe i will be approved by sept 4th...(that would be 30 days exactly) highly unlikey right?

We always gotta stay positive or I think we all would go nuts!! I called again this morning and they still have not received my app. I keep writing to my husband and tell him that he needs to send another app, but I am sure by the time he gets it he may be transferred. And I heard that it is a lot quicker when they are mainlined to get approved, so we'll see.

Ok , my husband finally sent more visiting applications and they were all signed! These forms seem different then the last ones. I have a question.... I have a misdemeanor from 1998, I paid a fine and that is all I really remember. So I am wondering will they trip if I don't recall exactly but at least I mentioned it, right? Or will they deny me because I wasn't exact? Any help would be great!!!

aww Im so sorry! I think I would go crazy if mine took that long! (i hope it doesn't) Im praying we all get approved soon!

Thanks I need all the prayers!! I just hope he gets mainlined soon because I heard there visiting process is quicker! It sucks that it takes this long, you just never know how long it will take. Some girls have sent 3 applications before they were approved and one girl it took her like 3 weeks. so I guess it just depends on how fast they want to work in the visitng department,LOL.

Well I got my answer someone at visiting finally answered and as long as I mention the misdemeanor it is OK. I need to mention I was arrested I don't have to put the disposition the sgt said.
