or did you just send another one in?
i think you had said a week or two ago that they were on the end of julys apps? is that right?

Is anyone else having a problem with being told they don't have your application yet my husband wrote me and said they told him they had received my application that was like a week ago and this week all get from the visiting department is "It may be here in the office but we don't have it in the system yet." How frustrating is that. SOrry ladies just venting because I just want some answers.

I have been receiving the same response as well for weeks now. The prison received my application on July 8th. I talked to the woman on the phone yesterday and she had no clue why he wasn't up in their computers for visiting! Since he has been there since the 26th of June!! But, of course she couldn't give me a answer as to why he's not! I am sure by now my application has been lost!! I would send in another form, but my husband only has a few more weeks. It would of been really nice to give him a surprise visit!!

It has been 50+ days since I first sent my 1st application in and still NOTHING!! I call every once a week to see and they say they still have not received it. I did send another one about 3 weeks ago and still nothing on either one. I am starting to give up on seeing him in reception and just wait until he's mainlined.

they recieved mine on august 6th..
and its STILL not in the system yet...
so hang tight lady...

its a frustrating process...
we are all in a hurry to see our loved ones...

Wow I can't believe they got yours already...CONGRATS!! I called on Monday and he said nope we haven't got it yet try back next week. I have given up seeing him in reception so I guess I will wait until he mainlines.

I kept trying until just about 2pm and finally got through and although they told my husband they received myapplication they said they dont have it! I feel so sad now! She went on to say that once they receive it,it takes 30 to 90 days!!!
I already knew that but still it felt dissapointing hearing it from them : (

Has anyone actually been approved to visit while in reception @ NKSP? And if so, was it w/in a decent amount of time or did everyone have to go through a lot of hoop jumping to get approved? Just seems like it's so much hassle and it makes me sad and frustrated. I am going through it now myself. I don't understand how they can do this.

For me I never got approved at reception....and can't think of anyone that I came across that has. Reception visiting is behind glass for a hour...so for me I kinda didn't want to drive all that way just for a hour behind glass I had enough of that at county!

I never got approved either. I applied in August and they never received it! so i just sent out my new one today to PBSP so hopefully it will be soon. Although its too far to go at least I know Im aproved!

And dont worry a lot of us feel were doing it alone but If I wouldnt of found all these lovely ladies I would have been a mess! Were all here for each other! Sometimes it hard cause our families don't understand but no one judges here

I never was approved either. My visiting application reached the prison on July 8th. I kept calling and the Visiting department said they never received it.

I wonder what would happen if I called today and asked if I am approved? LOL

I have no idea what is up with the prison and why they're not processing visitor applications. My Son was there about 4 years ago and I was approved in 6 weeks.

It would actually be nice if I could write a sentence that made sense! LOL!! I made it to Delano fine. I am staying in the Roadway Inn and it's totally gross!! I wouldn't recommend it!! There's actually tagging inside on of the bed side table drawers! Yikes!!

You have to be approved for both.. if your man is in reception or mainline
