Notice to new members intending to register - from January 9th 2012

Please be aware that, due to difficulties arising from issues with Yahoo and AOL, we have changed our registration requirements.

I have used this site before and its a fun gift! But most importantly, its one we can actually send to our loved ones!! The site is called Book By You.

NOTE****PTO wont let me add the web address becuz I havent posted more than 25 posts....so just google Book By You.... or add that title plus the dot com.

You pick a book title (romance) and fill in names of yourself, your significant other, pets, friends etc and they make a book for you! There are several titles to pick from and you can even add your pic on the cover! The price isnt that bad either.

I'm sending my guy one. I think he'll get a kick out of it. LOL We all know they crave something to read and whats better than a nice romance starring US?!

Let me know if you guys use this and how they reacted to it ok?

Seems like a GREAT gift idea, but at about 45.00 a little pricey for a "random" gift. Might do this at Christmas time though.

Pretty neat idea - Thanks for sharing! My guy isn't too keen on romance novels ( truthfully neither am I ) so I won't be spending 45 dollars on one - BUT I think it is a super cool idea that some people will really enjoy!!

I wouldn't send something like this to my brother but I just checked out this site and its a great gift idea for my daughter's xmas gifts. She's got everything so i'm always looking for ideas of what to get her, and this is awesome! Thanks.

So I ordered a book from this place. It was for my daughter she's 9. I wasvery impressed with the quality and it's not too expensive. They have quite a few stories to chose from for adults too.

What a great idea! I am so doing this for him, something totally new and he loves to read. I think it would be awesome if I send one every 4 to 6 months until he gets out. First one will be for Christmas....Thanks a lot!

Do you know if you can send these directly to the inmate or does it have to come from the company? Please let me know this sounds like a great idea!

They have to come from the company and they are really great about shipping to a prison. I have ordered from them a couple of time. We have the vampire, pirate and the knight books. After my husband reads them he sends them home for me to read. you put in your pets name best friend and two main characters. AWESOME
