Anybody know if I can send my baby a bday card that plays music when you open it!? I have to send it out by tomorrow for him to get it on his bday! Let me know if you happen to know....He's at LCF...Thanks!

I found him this really cute one that plays the theme to NFL games...but I don't want to waste the money if they are gonna send it back to me!

Well when my love was at a minimum he thought that they could get them because some guys on the yard had gotten them.(they got them by freak luck.) So I had gotten him a few for our anniversary.. UGH!! It took him a week and a half to get the cards (after he'd already been to the mail room to sign for them to be returned home) they ripped out the musical box that plays the tunes..

I mean really.. what was the point of that. My love is at Lawton and I don't know for 100% sure but I'm probably gonna have to guess that it's gonna be a no. The musical box in the card has metal parts and well.. i am not thinkin that Lawton is gonna let that pass. But if ya wanna make for certain call the mail room first thing in the morning there. They are very very friendly and helpful back there!

Thanks Brown..I will for sure call..I'm with you..whats the point if they remove the music from the MUSICAL card!!! Ughh...I think he was able to get them at another facility (his mom told he he did anyway) but..I'm sure you are right. Thanks again!

I attempted to send my baby a musical card for his birthday and it was returned to me. But get this it made it to the prison they stamped all over it, but it was refused due to insufficient postage. Now how the frig did it make it all the way up there if the postage was insufficient?

No..I never got in touch w/her..but I got a letter from baby that said he actually talked to his cse mgr Friday and he said it was a "done deal"...I'm giving it a couple days to get in the computer and I am calling back(I called yesterday and it still wasn't corrected

)....I did however mail her (Ms Jones) asking her to look into it. I will be sure to keep ya updated with any good news!

I know huh, that makes no sense!? And it cost more to send it back...

Bouksgirl, my husband is at LCF and I sent him one and they ripped out the music parts and then gave him the card. That defeated the purpose for the card. I know that when my husband was at Big Mac in McAlester, I sent him a musical one that whistled at him when he opened and he got that, no problem. Does not make sense to me, so do not waste your money on it.

I tired to send my hubby a musical card for our anniversary last year and they took the musical part out and gave him the card when he was at Crabtree. And my husband told me that there at William S. Key they made one of the inmates come all the way down to the mailroom to throw away a blank piece of paper that was just wrapped around a picture before he could have the picture and it is a minimum. Thanks all, for the responses. He'll just have to be happy w/the 4 Bday cards I have sent. He will hear the music when he comes home!
