Notice to new members intending to register - from January 9th 2012

My ex was arrested in Bartow and served his time for all the charges they had against him, supposedly. He was then transferred to Cobb for a probation violation and was sentenced to serve 15 months. He is now in Dodge. When he got there, they were filling out some paperwork and the clerk that was doing the paperwork told him that he had charges pending in Bartow and would be sent back when he was done in Dodge. I called the DA's office in Bartow and they didn't want to tell me anything until I let them know that I was the victim in the charges he had done his time on. They put me through to someone in the Victim's something office and the lady there told me that from what she showed, he had served his time and they didn't have anything else on him. The thing is, since I had such an issue getting the information in the first place, could they have more charges pending and not tell me? If so, is there any way to find out if he has more charges coming?

COnfusedasusual Welcome to PTO and the Ga forums,being the victim they should have told you when you spoke to that lady...They will tell a victim more than they will tell anyone else...

Thanks Klyn...that's what I was thinking, er, hoping anyway. I don't exactly have a lot of trust when it comes to some things with the legal system, considering how they pretty much seem to do what they want at times.
