Default Anyone know about Reconsideration hearing?

My guy has been granted a reconsideration hearing for next month with the judge. Does anyone know how this goes? He took a plea of 8 months and this hearing was set at about that time. He's heard since he got a hearing and he needs to be there in person that he will be getting out. How true is that?

thanks!

Default Reconsideration

My bf was granted a reconsideration hearing after 90 days in Rockwell City and did attend his hearing and was granted his reconsideration! He had to spend a couple of months in a 1/2way house, but now is out and on a 2-year probation. He is doing so well that his probation officer said she will reduce his probation time from 2 year down to 1 (if he gets his fines all paid off by then...) -- PRAISE GOD! His original sentence was a 10 year drug charge... he was very lucky and we are very blessed. BUT -- the reason everything has gone so well for him is because he played it very cool his entire 90-days. Did not get one write-up for anything and completed his drug treatment PRIOR to his sentencing. We had one of the best attorneys in Des Moines who really knows how these drug charges and reconsideration hearings work and we listened to every word and it all worked out for the best. GOOD LUCK to you -- i'm thinking since he was granted his hearing, he'll get the reconsideration!!
