phone call abroad from prison to uk help needed

can i speak to my friend in new york ? i,m in uk. what is needed to for me to do so?can i use call collect ? any advice welcomed

I too am in the UK. At the moment my partner is on Death Row :-(

A couple of years ago I had a normal prisoner as a penpal. He used to ring me, and did it as reservse charges, so yes it is possible to do so.

Hope you hear from your friend soon, dont forget to give the code for when dialing in. Use 44, then drop the '0', so if you were in Reading, instead of 0118, it would be 44118.
