[ben's girl]

Hello everyone, I'm ben's girl from Alabama. My husband, love of my life, is incarcerated in the sunny state of Florida. We've known each other since we were 14 and had kept in and out of touch over the last 15 years. When I went looking for him again several years ago he was in prison and now here we are, husband and wife. It's amazing where the road of life leads us!!

I found PTO while trying to get "acquainted" with prison life. Boy was I clueless! I was amazed at the information and support offered by so many people. At the time I was afraid to let my family and friends know Ben was back in my life and PTO was my lifeline for support. I know I spent hours and hours online reading through thread after thread. I have now met several people I consider dear friends and am so thankful I joined this wonderful community.

Thanks to our many members and staffers who make PTO what it is today. I know we will only continue to grow and help thousands more in the future who have yet to begin their trying times.
