Notice to new members intending to register - from January 9th 2012

Hi all, I have a favor to ask, Ty has a friend that he knew from before he went to prison & it ends up they are in the same dorm now. His family has not written him , called or visited him. He is very sad & depressed, so I was wondering if maybe we could all write him a note just to keep his head up. It has to be hard when your family gives up on you. I write him, & am going to do a viso form on him so when we get Ty out he can come to. But I think it would do him good to know someone cares.....With the Holidays coming it I know it will be a sad time for him....(He can have puzzles up to 5 in each letter,plus 10 stamps, 10 blank papers & envolpes)Thank You so much in advance!!!!! thank you lyne.for sharing this young man ....now would that be envelops with printed stamps or loose stamps ?.....all those small technicalities .....size of envelops?????

wish I could send stuff like that to david.... no stamps, envelops. have to send him $ for him to buy his own. I do send him blank paper (like copy paper). he uses that for drawing I guess.

When I mail them to Ty, I write him a letter or card!!! Then in an envolpe I put a 10 papers, 10 stamps & 10 envolpes together. They can be loose stamps so far I have never had a problem. In the letter I write him i put the puzzles. Thanks!!!! HUGS to all...

if you dont mind i will send him a card too, shall i say TYs mom said about him?? or he might wonder why some one from england is sending him a card lol
i will get one later when i go to the shops, once i get off my butt and move myself from PTO lol take care

He is 19, ya that is fine if you say I asked you to write, I think this will brighten his day, I still am heartbroke that his parents don't write him.... Thank You

i know how you feel my hubbys parents dont, he was locked up when he was young too, maybe if my hubby had of had someone like you that took him under their wing he would of stood a better chance too, God Bless you,

Just wanted to say Thank you all, Cory called me last night so excited that he got letters!!!! & stamps he couldn't get over the stamps it was just like Christmas!!!! LOL If you could have heard the excitement in his voice you would have cried just knowing what a letter can do!!!! Ty said man mom you have got some good friends!!!! LOVE & HUGS to all (He said Thank You Coreys mom)

Thanks for the update Lyne. I can't even imagine enduring being in prison without some kind of outside contact. I was so glad to do it for him. I've added his name on my Christmas list as well.
