My hubby just pulled chain yesterday. Will the letters I sent Wed get forwarded to him at LARC?

Thank you! I have been FULL of questions since he transferred! LOL I'll probably have a ton more when he gets to a yard!

ITs ok mommy I say that cause when my honey was in Lincoln Co and got to come home I had sent him a really good letter and he was home a month and they sent it to me. Also they don't get to bring any of the letters or anything that you do send my honey says everytime he gets a letter from me he sticks it in a envolope so that when he does pull chain all those letters and pics can come back to him and I will have to send them back to him once he gets where he is going!

I really don't think any of the county jails will forward mail on to them at LARC. Now once they are officially in DOC any mail coming in will be transferred to them should they transfer to another yard or it's suppose to be forwarded to them, but there's 3 of my letters that I'd mailed to my son at LCF a couple of days before he transferred to Holdenville that still hasn't caught up with him. But then considering how busy the USPS is this time of year, maybe it is just slow in getting there.

Actually, DOC doesn't forward them very often either. My husband even had court paper returned undeliverable that were sent to him at lawton and he was in vinita. The only time that I've known that they have forwarded his mail was when he was in the hospital. But I would guess that it would depend on the facility and how they feel on that day as with every thing else when dealing with DOC

Yea it sucks they dont trasnfer anything. They could atleast keep it & put it in with their property so when you go to get it, you will have that letter & can re-mail it instead of waiting for it to get sent back to you.

I mailed hubby 2 letters this past week, and i got them both back today saying there is 2 inmates with that name so I had to include his DOB or middle name. Well yesterday I sent him a package, cost me almost $10. If that dang thing gets sent back to me saying it needs his middle name, I am going to be mad!!!!! I dont have the money to be re-sending crap like that!! But whats weird, I got on the ok county website & searched the name, and hubby's is the only one that it pulled up, it didnt show having 2. ...Mail is another reason why I hate ok county!!!

White wolf, HOw are you? My John is doing well now that all of his things caught up with him 3 weeks later. He's at Connor's MSU and I hate it. they are so slow about stuff, worse than any place he has been so far.
