Default NEw to the forum been lurking

FInally signed up. My fiance Sara has been in county for 3 months now. Her deffered ajudication was revoked and we were woken up the day before her birthday to her getting arrested for a felony warrant at my mothers house ( they must have dug really hard to find that address) Her arrest date was nov 10th if anyone cares. Luckily with the charge she has they have to give her formal felony probation, but they are requiring her to go to rehab first. The main thing im fight is SAFP, I wont allow that to happen to her and it looks like her judge wont either Hes really helping us out. Her next court date is the 19th so hopfully we will have some answers....or a 1244a xD.

IDK made me join today i guess its because its our 1 year anniversary. I cant wait to get my phone call tonight.

Welcome to PTO, Robert aka Clutch! While I wish that you didn't have a reason to join, thank you for coming on and telling us what's going on. I might sound ignorant, but what is 'SAFP' and '1244 xD'? I know I'm no expert , but I haven't heard those terms before.

Happy anniversary,, and here's to a good phone call! We have to enjoy every second of contact we get even though we all want more!

Sorry for your circumstances, but welcome to PTO. This is an awesome supportive group of men (and us nosy women that pop ourselves in here).

Happy anniversary and I hope you had an awesome call.

Clutch - welcome to PTO you will find comfort here, we are all in this together. I think all of us can agree that we don't like the reasons we are here, but all find comfort in the camaraderie that comes from sharing with fellow members that are going through this bad experience with you. More times than not, you will find it helps just knowing that you're not the "Lone Ranger" and others are here to just listen, share and advise. The W & G forum is my favorite, we keep it real with a slice of humor. I personally like that we have several dedicated ladies that always give a perspective thought!

Well thank you all for the warm welcome and i appologize in advance if this wont make much since ( ive got the flu and meds are kicking my a**) We had a great 3 calls 45 mins it was awsome, shes doing ok shes actually on the first floor till tuesday so im going up there tommorow to talk to her through the fence. ( its a weird building but it work i talk to her when shes usually on the 3rd floor but maybe i will see her)

I dont remember if i mentioned im not allowed to visit her, In williamson county f you arent direct familly you cant. We would marry by proxy but i jsut got power of atty to start her divorce and have at least 3 months to wait for that.

SAFP is the Substance abuse Felony Program its like prision with rehab. And the unit they want to send her to is under investigation for verbal physical abuse and i have heard rumors of COs sexually abusing the women there as well.

A 1244a is a thing the judge can due that allows ou to serve a felony as a misdemenor (or jsut drop it to a misdemenor all together) as a class a misd a 1244b makes it a class b. If she got the 1244a and it reflected as a felony conviction she would have 1 months left after court. But they dont want to do it becasue if she makes rustee she could be out in 2 weeks(which she cant make trustee because her leg is messed up, pinched nerve they finally took her to the damn nuerologist) Im sorry if i seem negative this has been the most uphill battle ive ever had with the legal system. And i absolutly hate the williamson county justice system.

Aka Clutch
Yep it's the anniversary. Our anniversary was what got me searching for a support site, which of course led me here. Blessings to you and yours! I hope it all works out the best way possible for you two.

Thanks for explaining that, clutch. I'm almost 5 years into this ordeal, and I can't still can't keep up with all the prison and/or legal system lingo. Hell, it was easier to learn how to speak spanish!
