Well....he actually told me we were getting married when he gets out...which should be 26 months away...and i need to see how he is on the outside. Mwi...he is my love though...

I said yes I love this man more than anything, I couldnt see myself married to anyone else.

He calls me his wife an I even sign my letters with his last name cause he says he loves to see my name followed by his[/quote]

My guy said the same thing about McDonalds and I KNEW he was a good man if he was willing to sling burgers to keep our family afloat.

He puts his name on my envelopes he mails and he said he's jealous cause my name sounds better w/ his last name than his does!

I knew my finace on the streets before he ever went to prison...We were just friends. Then he went to prison a couple years later at the age of 18. We talked as friends when he was in the county and when he went to prison we lost contact. I moved to GA and he was transferred to several different prisons, he then was transferred to Louisanna and I looked him up on the internet to she where he was and to make sure he was ok. I wrote him to et him know I had not forgotten about him. About 5 yrs ago I got a call out of the blue and it was him. We had stayed in contact off and on since then, till last year around this timen when we started comunicating a lot. Well with in three weeks we were in love. On October 5th of last year we were on the phone and he said "Can I ask U something and I said Yes, He said do you truely love me? I said yes he said without a doubt I said without a doubt. He said can I ask you another question I said yes Baby he said will you marry me. I said yes without hesitation." He had been planning on askin me on the yard in front of everyone but he gotten in trouble so we have not been able to have visits yet

. Which is really hard but I will ride this hard road for ever how long it takes. I drove down for the first time this weekend with a friend so she could see her man, and since my Baby still can not have visits I was just able to ride by the prison and wave at my Baby while he was on the yard. I waved back and cried afterwards. But I still was happy to see him from a distance. 831 4life with no doubts!!!!

My Man did propose to me in a letter.... in HUGE letters. Then when I went to go see him He told the guard something and the next thing I know he is on one knee in the visiting room, everyone looking at me like I am crazy and he starting to saranate a song then asked me to marry him..... Now how could I say no?

Still said that I was gonna be his wife, in less than 3 weeks, I fell head over heels for him! We were even planning how we wanted to do our wedding. 3 months later, he got locked up. On Dec 17th he had his mom give me his christmas gift to me but I couldnt open it until he was on the phone with me. He made me promise I ould wait and not to peek. So I was stuck starring at a gold bag wondering what was in it. He finally calls! first it was a lil small talk but i was like "babe! can i open it yet?!" he said..."umm... first i have to say my statement, you know i love you right?" "yesssss" "I want to be with you for the rest of my life baby, you can open the present now" I noticed he was all nervous and shy so i was like okkkkaaayyy?? lol so i opened it and it was the cutest lil christmas bear that says i love you and he was holding a small blue box and inside was the ring that I wanted! I was like "No you didnt babe!" he laughed and said "yes I did! Will you marry me (my full name)?" "Of course I will!" It was so romantic! I love him so much and wouldnt be able to live without him in my life. Now I have a stuffed animal for every occasion We started our relationship on v-day so I call the dog he gave me Valentine and now the bear he gave me is called Christmas since it was for chirstmas. lol Now we are waiting til I graduate college and til he mainlines so we can finally get married! I dont care where we get married as long as I get married to him =]]

dustin proposed to me the night before his court date and then again a week after he was locked up. I said "yes baby I will marry you today, tomorrow or in 2015 no matter when it is I will marry you" but we had been discussing this since our "2 month" anniversary

yes my man proposed to me while being locked up..he still locked up and i met him while being locked up thru his siter who is my best friend..and i have said yes..i love him and his family and we have plans of getting married in prison if possible if not the day het gets out

my guy asked me to marry him and of course i would marry him. we are talking about maybe getting married in while he is in there if not then not very long after he is actually relesed. i feel like he completes me and i want to spend the rest of my life with him and he says he feels the same way and wants to put his name to me :P i love this man!!

Yep, mine asked me while locked up too. Surprised the heck out of me. He also asked me on the phone, but he wanted to do it in person too. So on our first contact visit (first physical contact after a year) he asked me to marry him. By the microwave heating up our jalapeno burger! Lol I love him! What a memory that I'll cherish forever. Even if it sounds a little silly to others, it meant the world to me!

He proposed to me in 2006, but has always called me his wife, since 1991 when we had our son. Then in January he asked again, I said yes this time. We were married on March 22 2010. After a lifetime spent together we are now Happy Married. We did it backwards!!

well 1st he told me i was lol then he made a comment about changing my name to his. Finally he said ya know theres nothing else traditional about us so why dont u ask me? I did and it was the most amazing feeling when he said yes i will .....

I feel like I am a very lucky woman. A little back story here... The facility my man is in allows the inmates to attend church on the outside. The church has drivers who are approved by the DOC to transport the men back and forth. My two girls, 16 and 7, and I go to see him at church. I am working toward a bachelors degree and have a 4.0 gpa; finishing my degree is one of the most important things in my life.

On Valentine's Day between Sunday school and the service, he got down on one knee. He told me he loved me with all of his heart and wanted to spend the rest of his life with me. He asked me if I would marry him when I finish college (This told me he respects how important my education is to me). He gave me a ring with three diamonds explaining that they represented me and both of my daughters because he knew we were a package deal.
My teenage daughter knew about it weeks in advance and even stood back to shoot a video of the proposal!
I am a lucky woman indeed.

Yep so did my love. It was so sweet I couldn't say no he made me a paper ring kept it on his pinkie finger and the end of our visit he got on one knee held my hand and asked me to be his wife and I said yes so it's in the making. I love him sooooo much.

Well he didn't ask me I asked him hey were in the 2000 but anyways we met talked but didn't get together until 2 years after he went in he wrote me and after 3 years I asked him he was like a fat kid who loves cake that day. After wards he went back and told his celly we were getting married and started planning our wedding(his celly wife called me to tell me to tell him to shut up because his celly was tired of hearing about it) lol

I said yes and we are processing. Letters written to warden, clergy approved by DOC...now awaiting the warden's answer and asked them for assistance in getting the marriage license, since the prison will have to appoint someone to act as clerk of courts for the purpose of obtaining the marriage license for my fiancee to sign. We will not take no for an answer because it is our civil right to be married...they cannot say no unless you are a threat and I see no threat here.....They know they will get a grievance if they do say no.
