He asked me while he's in, and I said yes. But we are waiting until he gets out & then he is going to "officially" (his word) ask me again. No doubts that I will say YES AGAIN!

He has not officially asked me yet. He has told me he wants to marry me though. Numerous times. We talk about it and have even talked about what we will do for a wedding.

Dat was the most amazing day.....of my life....wen i recieved..three...envelopes...wit...my name on it directly...adress...to his wife before u even had chance to say anything...but first....he connectd wit my gurls.....two teenagers..ina preteen....dats...his babygurl...he loves...her...so..much...ok...so wen i got the mail...smilen...frm.ear...to.ear...kool..aid.smile ....it was crazy...cuz i had to open them in order...just...to remind...everyone...he dosent knw dat...the mail....came all togetha...it was the most beautifulist thing ive ever saw...he had..writtin...the proposal....on..the card....will.you.marry..me..i cried...srceam...it into the...air..yes..baby..yes..baby...the next..day..it..was a happy day....i told hm dat i open thm up all in order...in i didnt...even realize...dat i did...he said im gld u did...dats wat i wantd...to happn..i love..u beautiful...wit..my...all...the whole...time...weve been...together...its been unconditional......god..bless....

My man did the exact same thing! He asked me to marry him while in and I said I wanted to wait for when he gets out so we can do it up big since he's only in for 2 years! But every single letter I recieve,, On the inside of the envelope he asks me to marry him! Butterflies start flowing through my belly.He knows I will but I am making him wait till he gets on one knee! But then again I want to marry him while he's in so I can have conjugal visits! Im tempted like you wouldnt believe...

Actually my finace' asked me two years ago. We had a lot of issues to deal with before I could totally say yes to marrying him. He has been in and out of jail since we been together. We have three beatuiful children that miss him very much. I have thought about getting married while he's been locked up once before, but i decided to wait and have a intimate wedding for two in Las Vegas. We live in Atlanta.

Nope. My baby proposed on my b-day in 09. Now that he's locked up he said its my decision whether we get married while he's down or wait till he gets out. We've been engaged for 1 yr 5months now. He's going to be serving 10yrs so i'm not goin 2 wait that long to marry him...

we talk about marriage but since we are considered MWi, i dont think it's a wise thing to do. I've only known him a little over a year now and have really grown to love him, however, marriage is a HUGE step and we have tons to consider...we'll just pray ahout it and pray to do the smart thing, and wait!

He asked me to marry him a month before he got locked up. we were back from church making dinner. he looks at me and says "i love you. will u marry me"? i look at him and asked him if he was serious and he said yes. so i said "of course i will marry you. i love you". so he's been locked up for almost 3 years and has 2 and a half more years to go. we plan on gettin married when he gets released

Yes, he did. We are MWIs,lol. We were writing each other for a long time and fell in love and just personally got so close to each other. When the time of his birthday was coming I sent him a letter and asked him what I can for him to get him a present.If I should order a magazine for him or order a book or if I should send a bit money.....He wrote back that there is really something I could do for him: Come here and marry me!
I was like, very funny and wrote back to him that I had a good laugh and now he should tell me what he wants for his birthday. He sent me a cute letter with poems and wrote me 21 reasons why he wants me, me and nobody but me as his wife and at the end he wrote: Please marry me
And I look forward to november when we will do.

And i get asked pretty much every other letter and on every phone call he always says i love you mrs justice . I always find it cute and makes me smile cause as soon as he is out of recieving we are going to get married. The place doesnt matter all that matters to me is he is there with me.

Yes he did. We MWI ...actually from a penpal website. We had been together for about three years and one day my love got down on his knee in front of God and everyone in that visitation room and asked me to be his wife. I said yes yes yes and we had us a nice little ceremony on Feb 1, 2006 with the JOP right there at the facility.

I wouldn't change a thing.....well, for him to be out. DUH!!! LOOLOLOL

Wow all moving stories...here is mine. I met my love one on the partyline and we just started out as friends talking and leaning on one another for advice. Plus at the time he had a girlfriend and i was going through a divorce. Well he ended his relationship and was bitter but always wanted too talk too me which i did not mind at all. Well after a while we grew very close and closer. His parents came up one weekend from georgia too visit and i met the fam and they adored me as i did them. On june 6,2010 he told me 'you are home and with that the key to that home has too be secured'. I looked at him all confused. He then grabbed my hands and asked me infront of the whole visiting room "would i marry him?" i began crying and it took me a whole 20 mins too respond. I said yes..we are waiting until he comes home to walk the aisle but it don't matter i would do it there as well.
