Notice to new members intending to register - from January 9th 2012

I'm going to be visiting my son at Ft. Leavenworth on Friday April 17th and leave at the end of the afternnon visit on Sunday. Anyone going to be there. I'd love to get together.

OOOOOHHHH... I want to go SOOOO badly! I packed for a 4 day conference this past week and almost had a mini-meltdown when my brain reminded me I wasn't going to see my son. Too strange, but true. I usually go on three-day weekends, but I'll check my schedule and see if I can work it out. Take care.

Lisa, I talked to my son this past week and your son walked by and said Hello Mommy to me...Guess my son does that when you are talking to your boy as well. As bad as I hate that they are there at all, I am so glad that my son has yours, as I think that he has helped him to adjust. He is helping him learn the guitar, as well. Check your schedule and see if you can make it. It would be great!!!

I looked at my calendar and can probably leave around noon on Friday and then head home after Sunday a.m. visit. Will make for a groggy Saturday and Monday, but it's worth it. I will let you know a definite in the next few days. Where do you stay when you're there? Had to laugh about the "hello Mommy" bit. My son told me about it and, yep, I think yours did say it when he walked by the other night. They're still just kids....

Oh Lisa, that is GREAT! I will fly into MCI Friday early afternoon and be able to see my son for the Friday night visit. You know I just had a thought and will email you directly with more info on where I am staying. I am so excited to see him and to get to meet you!!
