My husband wrote me the day after he arrived at IMCC and told me he put our home and my cell numbers on a bubble sheet and turned in to get approval to call me. He said those are the only numbers he submitted and I believe him because he cant remember anyone's number if his life depended on it. I had to drill our home # into his head. Besides the only person he would call other than me is his mother and she has dementia and is in a nursing home and he doesnt have her number at the home.
Anyway, Its been over 2 weeks and today when I called they finally told me my numbers are approved. But, she went onto say he had other numbers on there as well but that was priveleged info. and she could not tell me what other numbers were on his list.

Last week a guy at the phone center told me there were 3 DOC numbers on his account that are standard and go on everyone's account but those were the only numbers on his account, that was Fri. Mar.27.

I asked the lady today if those (the DOC) were the numbers she was referring to but all she would say is she couldnt tell me because its "priveleged info.".

The state owns my husband, he's been stripped of all rights, privacy, respect, etc... but his phone list is priveleged????????

Since my numbers just got approved today, I mailed a money order but from Missouri it will take till probably Monday for it to post to his account so he still cant call till the $ gets there.

How can I find out what other numbers are on that list? Can he send me a copy of his list or does he even have that?
Any ideas, suggestions, etc... would be appreciated. I wasnt worred because I have no reason to be with my husband but her secretive, priveleged info. comments raised my suspicions. I'm sure I'm over reacting and I need to just trust in my husband and when he calls next week, I will ask him and I'm sure he will clear it all up but for now, I'm very curious???

They say the 'privileged info' comment to everyone. It's just standard proceedure because there are a lot of guys who do have people on their phone accounts. They will be this way about everything, they won't tell you how much money is on his phone (only if your money has posted) or any other question about your guy will be answered the same way. They are just like that.

Hi when ever they tell me I cant know something I go to his counselor or drill him for the answer. I know how hard it is sometimes not knowing but remember your his wife and that is all that matters.

Try not to freak out. Tell him and see what he says. I'd ask face to face to see his body language.

So he gets a copy of his phone list? Cause if so, he will send it to me if I ask (and I will) :-)
I would much rather ask face to face but he's still in reception and I cannot visit there.
Hopefully by the first of May I'll get to visit wherever they send him. He mentioned Mt.Pleasant.

No I havent. But since I posted that, he is in the hole now and cannot call me. In a letter he did say he filed a complaint because he turned my number in 3 times, listing each date he turned it in and it took them 3 weeks to put my number on the list.

Plus he said they had 3 numbers on there that he didnt know who's numbers they are and wanted to know who's #'s they put on there and why they didnt put mine on (the one he turned in).

So apparently he did see his list but I havent received it yet. I got so wrapped up in the reason he is in the hole and no phone calls now, I forgot to ask him to send me the list! Uuhhggg... but I do still want to see it. Thanks for reminding me. I will be sure to include that in tonights letter.
