Notice to new members intending to register - from January 9th 2012

Hi Ladies...

Rcangel91730 and I are trying to put together a G2G for the middle of July for any PTO members who would like to meet other PTO family members.

We are looking at locations still but we are thinking of doing a potluck at a park somewhere in the middle of the LA, SD and Riverside areas.

If you would like to join us or if you have any suggestions, we would love to hear from you.

Hmmm....I wonder if Elsinore has a picnic area with a playground for the kids...I will have to check into that. If it's in Elsinore, do you think we can twist Morris1's arm into coming?

Sounds like a great idea! I was planning one last year, but then I had surgery that was unexpected. We originally were gonna have it at the Laguna Niguel Regional Park - has a nice play area for kids, has covered "pods" with electric hook up, etc. The only thing about this place is it costs $5.00 to enter and the "reserved" covered areas costs money. But they do have Free covered areas too. It is on a first come, first seve basis.

At Dana Point, right next to the Ritz Carlton is a covered FREE area which overlooks the ocean! The area is in one of my pics in my album here. But hey, I will go where ever. If it is Lake Elsinore, I will go there too!!! Just let me know.

My personal opinion about the food is, everyone bring their own food and drinks.... then we don't have to worry if someone can eat this or that. We all know what we like, etc. Whatcha think? I'm game for whatever.

I love the park in Laguna Niguel but I think Lake Elsinore is more the center point for everyone. We are trying to figure out where everyone is coming from so we can find the middle and hopefully we will be able to get a bunch of people to come.

I like your food idea Junior'sQueen....we can all pack our own picnic's.

I am so excited to finally meet everyone!

Either places are fine by me

potlucks are always fun, but thats true on people and what they like.. bring own food is a good idea

well its no problem. I can go early enough to reserve a place for us

Just let me know. It will only take me a hour or so to get there, and I don't mind it.

So July 17th ? THat is a mid July

I was thinking of making signs as well for the place we go to so we dont get lost

Maybe if we decide, I will make a trip out to the place where we decide to scope it out.. and know where the best tables are

We should prolly decide on a location early next month

I think they are both in the middle, just off two different fwys.

Wow! This is a neat idea...I just recently moved from Lake Elsinore to Missouri. Yeah big move. Anyway, there are a lot of nice parks in Lake Elsinore. In fact there is the lake which isn't the cleanest of all lakes but it has a beach setting and it has tables, bbq's and pits. But, if you are really wanting something nice I know of a place that is absolutely beautiful. Its in Hemet not far off from Lake Elsinore. It's called Simpson Park. And it over looks Hemet and part of Sun City I believe. Anyhow, If you are interested I can get one of you ladies the info on it and pass it along. This place is in a small mountain top. Me and an ex use to go there, had alot of wonderful times spent there. Just a beautiful scenery.
