Thumbs up Respite retreat for caregivers and grandparents

Just wanted to let you all know that there is a retreat called "A Gift of Time" coming in August in Salem. It is for anyone who is raising a grandchild, niece, nephew, greatgrandchild, etc. (parenting again or PA) or caring for a parent or spouse (relative caregiver or RC). It is a wonderful 2 1/2 days/nights of great food, speakers for each group on subjects of interest to them, crafts, fellowship, sing around the campfire, entertainment, etc., all for the low cost of $80 (there are scholarships available on a limited basis). I have attended for the past two years and it is a great way to "recharge" your batteries. Anyone interested can let me know and I can get the registration info to you.

Wow, that sounds like a wonderful things to have. Do they do respite in any way? Or, do you need to find your own relief caregiver for the time you are at the retreat? Just asking the question for the others that may be interested in attending.
