Many questions on bjcc

My boyfriend's sentence is 10 years to be suspended upon completion of a DOWC or equivelent program. I have a couple questions. I have read so many different things and the lawyers tell me different things.

Does anyone know how long it could take to get from LARC into a DOWC program in BJCC?

Secondly, what is the average length of the program? I've heard it's less than a year inside with aftercare program making it a year...is this right? Will he really be released from there after completing the program?

Lastly, I'm his girlfriend, will I be able to visit him and where do I get the approval form to fill out once he gets there?

I've tried to find these answers in the forum but things change so much and most of the posts on these are older and cryptic. It's hard to try and get through this time when I don't know how much time I'm looking at.
