Just too much for me today

My heart is full to overflowing and the sadness and tears wont stop. My boy knew something was wrong and had made an appointment with a psych and the date happened to be the day after his crime. If I had known, I'd have driven that 450 miles at 80 mph on I-5 to help him. Now...oh now...look and see the torn hearts that are not mending; getting a reprieve once in awhile. I want him home!!! I want him home!! My only son. My handsome, beautiful as a person can be son. OH GOD!! Hear my prayer, do turn your face to me and hear my entreating cry for help. Unbreak our hearts. Let the words that I write him today be truth and light and love and hope. Speak for me.
Today...all you mammas who cannot stop the tears and the heaving in your heart - I know there are many out there like me today - let us help each other to lift up our heads, put one foot in front of the other, and go on until that peace comes our way again. I love you all; I know I am not alone. Trust in Godwith all your heart and do not lean upon yhour own understanding. In all your ways take notice of Him and He Himself will make your path straight. Proverbs 3: 5,6 Even this part of the path. With all of you hurting Moms now

Yes, I know your pain and many others are here with you today. It is just heartbreaking to know someone that is really a good, caring person is now here when they should have been put in treatment.

Yes, our system is flawed and most of us have no idea of this until it becomes one of our own.

You like so many of us have turned to God and asked for his guidance. I have also asked God to give me the words to say and point me to the person that he wants me to say them too.

While walking the floors at night and asking God what he was wanting me to do, as I have said on many post here, I only know I always ended up at the computer and here is one site where I landed.

Through my research, I have also found many programs that are trying to make a difference. If you can't find them, send me a private message and I will give you the names of some. Join everything you can to try and change this crazy system. People need to know what is going on and who can tell them better than those that once walked the high and mighty as most of them still do. Our number is growing and as we grow in number and strength maybe we can make a difference. As I have said in many messages, I do believe God is wanting our help and as we try and help others, it does seem to ease our pain. So, all I can say on that is work as hard for everyone as you would work for your own, whether it be state or federal, give your full support.

There is also a thread above on a senator who is trying to make a difference and wants our suggestions. Have a look at it.

I can't take away your pain, but maybe knowing you are not alone will help, because, believe me, you are definitely not alone.

(((((HUGS)))))) and I hear ya, and know you are having a hard day. what amazed me is that even though your soul cries out, you end your post with thinking of others and their pain as well. very compassionate, even when you have your own sorrow.

I did not make that up, it is a statement that ALanon makes people memorize to stop the craziness of the guilt we can feel.
