Default Agitated-Daughter is still in Jail waiting to see the Judge

My daugther has now been in jail for over a month waiting to see a judge for her probation violation. We are waiting for the PO in Tupelo to send papers to Holly Springs so she can go in front of the judge. I mean really how long does it take to fax papers from Tupelo to Holly Springs. I know he has other people to see too, but Holly Springs have been calling him since last Friday to get her paperwork up there. All of the other female inmates have seen the judge but her. I guess I am just ill at the situation.

Waiting is hard. I am sorry you are so irratated with them. I have been at this for over a year now and I can not tell you how many times i have to remind myself to breathe becuase the courts or POs or someone is taking thier time doing what they need to be doing.
Take some deep breaths and try to relax..... getting upset will do nothing to speed them up....
Bigs hugs to you

it is a pain waiting for the slow wheels to turn there. My son had a probation violation as well. they bussed him from prison to the county jail. there he sat for two weeks to get his hearing and then two weeks waiting for a bus back to state prison.

you sometimes think they lose track of people. I dont get it. sorry for your situation...I know you are fed up. God speed answers your way.

Jancy a quik thread hi-jack. Your note about loosing track cracked me up. We did have a young man that got left in a holding cell after court. Can't remember the details on how long before they found him but it was hours. Poor kid was hungry and needed a bathroom.

It is funny how slow the system can move at times. Hopefully they get this taken care of for you soon. The waiting can drive you nuts.
