3 years, 4 in march since he's been in. He's passed his ERD already, it was January of 2009. His max is 15 years, hopefully it doesn't come to that. He's seen the parole board once, but he was turned down, so we're keeping our fingers crossed for next time!

9 years in on a 20-Life.....6/7th's means 8 yrs to go until parole eligability hearing so past the halfway mark this year. Never thought I'd make it this far. It seems like time goes so slow but looking back on 9 yrs feels like it went by in a flash. Ladies don't ever let anyone tell you you have no patience.....sanity is a whole 'nother story B-)

Dang ladies your all my inspiration, and you all give me hope that it is possible As of this year we have 10 more years to go, there are days where i feel like illl never make it but then i come on here and read all your ladies posts and it gives me the strength to keep pushing forward...stay strong ladies!

We have one down and 12 to go and I'm really hoping the law changes too.

1 month down, 53 months to go... Hopefully he can just do the minimum mand. Of 3 yrs... I pray for him n all of the incarcerated men n women daily n ask God to shine his light on them in this their time of darkness.....

My husband has been in for 16 years going on 17 this November 2010, the same month he will be going to the parole board. I pray that this time he gets granted his release. I miss him and need him home.

WEll we havent even gone to trial!! Hes been in a holding jail for a year now. I'm hoping he gets charged with anything but Man 1 or Man 2. You ladies all seem so strong. I think it might be all of you that will get me through this. Thank you

Mine has been in for a year now and we are looking at 0-25, for man 1, his sentencing is this coming Tuesday the 2nd, I am praying that we luck out of this one, keep your fingers crossed for us ladies. Thos of you who has been doing this for years and years I applaud you for being so strong. Keep your heads up, you are wonderful women and God will reward that.

Well alittle update since my last post, my man got sentenced yesterday and he got 25 years for man 1. He wont be able to go up for parole for another 16 years 3 months cause it was a violent offense.

We met in elementary school..we've been good friends since middle school. He's been gone 6yrs now. We've been married going on 3yrs ..but we've been inlove going on 4. He has 11yrs and 5 monthes left.

My fiance has been in 3 years, his daughter was 2 months at the time, his release dated isn't til 2019. Can he get out in good time if he has good behavior?

What exactly is the OLD law? I've been hearing a lot of this....does it mean he will be released on his first parole date? Mine has been in there for 20 years, parole date is 2020 ouch!
