Default Question - What is a MAP packet exactly?

Jason says he's about to turn in his MAP packet so he can go to the Assessment Center in Nov/early December. He has to put addresses on there and he is hesitant to put our address since it's out of state and he said somebody told him if he puts the out of state address they will make him max out.

I do't want him to use anybody's NJ address because he needs to be home with us here in Maryland dammit!! LOL

Does anyone have any experience, ideas, who to contact about him getting paroled w/ an out of state address?

Lisa (Dreamin) - what was your experience w/ your husband's out of state address?

Any assistance would be SO helpful!! Thanks!

He can't do the Parole MAP program from out of state. So either he would need to be in a halfway house or residential program; there is an outpatient component to MAP as well; he would need to have residence in NJ in order to complete this part of the program. If you have not done so already, you can check out the NJSPB website and there is information about MAP [Mutual Agreement Program].

yay!! Thanks Rookz....

Egs I looked up on NJSPB site and they CAN parole to an out of state address, but both states have to agree to it, etc. Gotta copy the info from the "parole handbook." HA HA so cute how they have a freakin HANDBOOK for everything. Just like in the freakin Army I swear....
