So our men are in prison no DAH right! They do what i call the big bubba thing. THey are tuff in the joint but when they are home they aint all that tuff. What are some soft memories of your big tuff man?

Mine is a whimp in the morning he cant get out of bed til he is warm. I dont get it he fights horses every day in the round pen and in prison they call him the "crazy white dude" but at home he is all soft. He lines up all our dogs every night and gives them a bite of his ice cream. Those big old twin towers he has for arms that can bust up the biggest n baddest hold me while he dances with me in slowly in the kitchen while i cook breakfast. And he crys at sad movies.

He's gonna kill me for telling you guys this but he loves watching French movies.. yup subtitles and all lol

He's so adorable. He's this big guy that plays rubgy and rides a motorcycle and then he comes home and snuggles with me on the couch watching French movies.. lmao!

He's a huge softie at heart though. He works (or rather used to

) in the social work field and I remember one time when we first got together he told me how he "stole" some blankets from work to give to these homeless guys. Aww..

And the dancing in the kitchen thing lol.. he's done that a few times too

My sweetie would also most likely not want me to tell anyone but he cries at the drop of a hat...

If I tell him "I love you always and forever".... He cries

If I say " You are the only one for me for the rest of my life"... He cries again...

When we are on the phone, he will always tear up and his voice will crack when he hears our daughter tell him she loves him and will he sing her their song? (she's really mine but my daughter stole his heart

) The song she loves to sing with him is "Lovely bunch of coconuts" LOL !!! Such a weird song for them but its theirs!!!

I'll usually hear a *sniff sniff* on the other end of the phone, but I dont mention it to him... I just know

If we werent the stronger ones they would lose it!!!

If we cant be strong for them (we are SOOO allowed to have our weak moments though!!!) then we arent helping them any to be strong for themselves inside. Those are just my thoughts...

behind every tuff inmate is a tuffer wife at home that has a fryin pan and knows how to use it. thats right ladies i aint afraid to him my honey in the tummy he will do what i ask because i am the cook the chief bottle washer and i take of rick. lol

My, as i call him..."Dearly Deported Boyfriend"...would be laying next to me, and if there was a knock on the door he'd get up, look at me and wink and say,"Now i gotta go act all macho again..."
He'd cry over something touching in a movie...
he really liked hearing me sing while i was in the bathtub...

My husband and all the guys on his wing are all softies lol. A couple of months ago they found a little kitten and took her in. All of the guys brang her food scraps every day from the chow hall, they built her a little litterbox, they all played with her and ended up hiding her from the COs for over a week. He told me that by the time the COs had found the cat, she was all fat with a little round belly from all the food they would bring her. He said she brang them all a lot of happiness, and all of these guys are former gang members who just got out of seg!

the only thing i can think of. is he says the sweetest of things to me that no other guy ever did. and you can see it in his face and his eyes...that whenever im upset it kills him. he just has that look ya know.

well,i'm mwi but marc just wrote and told me,well asked me if i ever watched extreme home makeover(I think that's what it's called??!!)anyway,he said he gets all choked up whenever he watches it. he's also told me he keeps an eye on the elderly and real young inmates.he's a loner but can't stand to see anyone bullied. his fav. nickname i call him is "snuggie-thuggie and no true tough guy would let ANY woman call him tht.shhh,that's our secret though....he'd be horrified to know i let the cat out of the bag on that one.to look at him he looks so hard and he says very little,but when it comes to me he has a marshmallow heart!! REALLY CUTE thread!!

My baby likes a bubble baths. He actually wrote me a letter telling me he misses my baths. Lol! He is such a big softie well when it comes to me. I remember one time after I did him a bath and stuff he went to kick it with one of his boys and when he got back he said his friend kept saying he could smell strawberries (strawberry bubbles). I laughed so much because he didn't admit that it was him because he would have got laughed at.

my man is the sweetest teddy bear, he watched brokeback mountain with me, (minus fast forwarding through the man kissing scenes, lol) and told me what a sweet movie it was, held my hand through the whole thing and told me how beautiful i was. he is wonderful. god i miss him

When I was preggers with our first daughter we stayed in all the time. We would watch American Idol all the time and he would get teary over a good performance. I miss that time. He tries to tell me he is 'tuff' on the phone and I say "Baby who do you think you are talking to" I know my cuddlly baby.

My old man likes to watch Lifetime movies! Actually that is a thing he picked up while he was in before we got together. And though he is kinda "tough" on the boys he will absolutely melt for any of the girls, even the grown ones. We are a his, mine, and ours family so there are 6 between us, 4 girls and 2 boys. And he LOVES babies, even though he wll pretend not to, he notices them instores and restaurants and stuff, it's kinda cute.

aww i love this thread. it brought back some memories. when i first met him it was through one of my "good" guy friends (strictly friends kinda like a big brother thing) and i gave my friend a hug and he looked with some puppy dog eyes and asked if he could have one too. seriously i was in heaven because i never thought he would like me

also my man loves animals. i made him watch marley and me one time and he started crying then the next day i had been gone all day and i came home and he was watching it again crying...he also will take in ANY stray animal he sees. its soo sweet. we also used to dance in the kitchen while cooking. man i miss my big "tough" guy.

He can't tell me he loves me without his voice dropping like 3 octuves and his eyes getting all welled up. It's a physical impossibility. lol He has a HUGE soft spot for animals, he was always dragging strays home, usually the ones you would cross the street to avoid, and would just be sitting there with this mongrol at his feet like it had always been there. When my youngest was a baby I would take her with me to see him and he'd sit there holding her, her little hand wrapped around his finger, and he would stare at her like she was made of gold- and scold me if I talked too loud and risked waking HIS baby! And every Christmas Eve he calls and we put him on speaker phone so he can hear the kids open the gifts from him and he cries every time. His favorite line was when my son opened one and said "it's a box".

He still gets all gushy about that.

HA HA HA!!this is sooooooooo true!!my man is pretty much feared by anyone who knows him and gets on his bad side.............except me i might be 5'1 but i dont take any shit!!!my man is a total sweetheart though and so romantic and turns into mush in my hands......well actually he turns rock hard in my hands but that might be a lil TMI lol!!!!he accepts and respects my tough love even though he can destroy me physically he knows with out me he will be destroyed completely and i will beat his ass to the best of my ability and he knows to never underestimate me lol!!im a crazy bitch and proud of it!!

These big old scrappin tuff inmates would be a whole lot different if each one had their wife as a warden. Prison would be a whole new ball game then. Cuz if Mama aint happy no one is happy. Hell has no fury like a womans scorn.

He tried to give our 8 week old kitten CPR after it collapsed.. and he cried with me when the little guy died. We buried him in the desert.

Our female cat sleeps on his chest and he massages her neck.

He is such a softie about animals.
