Notice to new members intending to register - from January 9th 2012

Please be aware that, due to difficulties arising from issues with Yahoo and AOL, we have changed our registration requirements.

Users with email addresses from yahoo.com, yahoo.co.uk and aol.com will no longer be able to use them to create a new account.
We have had a long-standing problems with these mail services and have found that it is almost impossible to send out account activations to new users who have Yahoo or AOL providers.

Default We got approved!! (February 2010)
We finally got our wedding ceremony approved after a pretty long wait!!

Our date is set in February and we are both very excited knowing that it is finally going to happen!

I am o' so excited!! My fiance and i have been wanting to get married....he proposed to me on nov 30th 2007......he should be home by june/july 2010/2011..........he wanted to get married in prison but i suggested to hold on because i wanted to have a beautiful wedding........ But i recently suggested the other day to get married in there because i cant wait any longer!!!! He is such a wonderful man and i love this man to death! He recently asked for the marriage information so that we can go about it......the only thing is....that i wanted to get more details in what exactly it is that i have to do.....im pretty new to all of this.....but i am o' so very excited!!! We are planning on having the reception once he comes home the good thing about it, is that my family approves of him, so i am not having any type of pressure with that....everyone loves him out here and approves.........if theres anyone out there who has recently gotten married that can share some informaton with me??? Please let me know....thanx

Congratulations! Me & my honey got married in our " local jail" Lol, but I don't know how they'd do it in a "prison". Just do the homework & you'll get all the info u need. All Jails/Prisons do things differently. Wish I could help, but I wish you the best!!

Is your wedding taking place in a Federal prison or a State prison? If it will be in a Federal Prison, I have the Federal Inmate Marriage Policy and I can PM it to you. If it will be in a State Prison, I may be able to look up that state's inmate marriage policy for you.

what part of virginia are you in and how long did you have to wait for approval? we put our request in over a month ago and i did receive a call from the chaplain with a date and time but it still wont seem real until i have the approval letter in hand and i can get our license. please give me som encouraging news!!!!!!!!

CONGRATULATIONS... my man proposed to me on xmas eve this year.... and that same weekend i went out and bought myself a beautiful engagement ring.... i have always been against getting married in prison.... i just couldnt see myself having those memories.. but i am now torn.... even to the point that i want to return the ring... =(

Great!! congrats, its always special getting that approval letter the main thing to do is make sure you get your marriage license filled out by the deadlines, and as long as you have your rings, day, and time you will be fine good luck, I was Married in a state 3 months ago,

congratulations!
Mine just ask me again about marrying him in there but Im not down with it. Im telling him to wait til' he comes home, send the letter off today so I will have to wait til he writes back to find out what he says about that. Hmm.. anyways... so are they gonna let you wear a dress and exchange rings?
