Hi ...i have been reading this page for quite a while ...i have a bro in muskegon ...it has been very tough to go through all that my family has to deal with in the last 3 years...but today i have given and registered....it is great the info that i have picked up on here ...today i post important info that i have come across in return ...thank you being here

my bro is a level ii...i guess that is the main part of the prison....also i was told that there are now 3 empty buildings there...i am so afraid that they will move him farther away ....i live in ohio and travel 4 hours with an elderly mother to go see him...wish i knew where he might be transfered to ...i was told today also that no more transfers will be made until after the new year....i am holding up ...but it has been very rough...if you google "charles fackelman" you would understand better ....long sad story

Do you know the name of the facility he is at? Theres Muskegon CF, Shoreline CF, and Brooks CF that are all located in Muskegon. It will be ok so dont worry just try to focus on the good stuff and wait for him to call if he can.

You mean to tell me that a man lost his son and the killer got 9 months and because the father of that child threatens (not kills) the accused, he gets 5 years in prison? This world is full of B.S. laws! This makes me soooooo angry.

yep ..that is the case ...and the man served 5 1/2 months of his sentence...i don't think what my bro did is right ....but just don't believe that prison is a proper setting for mental health care...not in his case ...no priors...and did wonderful after the 2 week stay in the psych ward where they balanced his meds

He may get sent to Ionia. A lot of the guys moved from Muskegon who are in need to mental health services have been sent to Ionia. They have a complex that currently houses levels II, IV, and V.

My son has certainly learned a lot there. Mostly about why he should never go back there again.
