Hello! I am new to this site I just was looking for help and other women who have been in the same situation. My boyfriend of a year is facing prison time. He goes to trial next month (Feb) and we will know for sure after that. The bad thing is that he's up against a crime he did not commit and I trust him 100%. If he goes to prison we will be over 850 miles/13 hrs away from each other so I will not get to visit him that often. I can't stop crying just the thought of losing him is so hard. Did you go to trial on the day they sentenced your boyfriend/husband? I'm trying to decide that now if I want to go on sentencing day I would never forgive myself if I did not get to kiss him goodbye. He's the love of my life and I will stand by his side no matter what. If he gets convicted he's facing a long sentence of 10+ plus so it will be a very long time till we are together again. I will write him often do you write your man? How does visitation work do you get to touch/kiss him or it is through only a window? I am so new to all of this I have never dated any guy who's been in trouble with the law before so I don't know how everything works. I'm so scared and so sad. I sure do hope the jury finds him not guilty please pray for me. Just thinking about going through the next 10 years without him in my life tears are streaming down my face.
