Angry So Angry! Got an early release date and now in the box!

My husband involved himself in a situation and got box time for it. He was granted the 6 month time credit allowance- new bill passed by NY state. Luckily this didnt affect his date but it could have.

So once he's out of the box he'll have 71 more days and I'm so nervous! I really feel so sad and angry. the day he got sent to the box was my very first day of grad school! Just shaking my head at how messed up all of this is.

Today I was snowed in and really would have loved to chit/chat w him on the phone throughout the day. Hopefully I will see him on Saturday but he'll be in chains- which I hate!

Ugh, just ugh! Any words of encouragement would really be great. thanks ladies!

((hugs)) to you.

Sorry this happened but 71 days is peanuts so hang in there. Count yourself lucky - he could have gotten in a LOT of trouble and his good time taken away!

This whole situation is defently frustrating. But your almost done. Maybe getting in trouble will now give him insentive to stay out of trouble. Good luck with grad school.

I agree with everyone else. The 71 days should be encouragement enough. I wish my hubby only had 71 days, but my journey is just beginning. I am going to be a while. Keep you head up honey!!! You are almost there.

My man did the same thing......3 months from coming home and in the box he went! He was fortuante too and didn't lose any good time, just MY time!!! Luckily it's over, he just came home. I can say it scared him to be in the box close to losing everything. i think it gave him perspective right before coming home! 71 days congrats...it will be here before you know it!!!
Stay strong and keep busy! best of Luck

Hi Ladies, thank you so much for your encouragement! I was blessed to see him yesterday. I'm hoping to go again next saturday night.

Just to clarify [and not to sound ungrateful] but its 71 days once he gets out on the 25th. Right now its 82 days. And yes I know I'm so blessed. He's been down for a LONG time. I remember when he was 82 days IN!!!

I'm nervous for when he gets out of the box. I'm praying that nothing else goes down and he doesnt lose any of his time. He kept saying everyone knows its a BS charge. Even a c/o came over while on the visit making an issue of it.

Anyhoo, yes the time will fly by, I'm praying it does so. Thank you all again so much. And for those of you just starting your journey my heart truly goes out to you! Please know that it will be challenging but to know that your relationship may be stronger than others bec you share emotional space instead of physical space as some couples never know or learn to know how to know one another in an emotionally intimate way. xoxo
