Well I dont know if there is a thread about this or not but I want to know what do you think about the in laws? Since my husband and I got married
my mother in law is not that into going to see him and she complaints that he dosent call or write her as much. Sometimes I feel as if she thinks its my fault which is not. Its his choice who he writes who he calls and well as much as I try to tell him babe call your mom well ultimately its his decision. My sister in law well that girl just has problems since i have been with him she's always trying to find ways to brake us up.

It aint happening yo get the hint lol. But my mother in law is a sweetheart when she wants to be. So how about you? whats your situation with the in laws?

All of my boyfriends family have been 100% supportive of J since he's been in prison, so in that respect I cant fault them. His step dad is a really great guy, very easy to get along with, very genuine, cant fault him. His mother is also very supportive and nice to me, but I think she gets "jealous" of me at times and feels that I'm "stealing" her baby away from her lol. So all in all I cant complain, they're pretty great and it could be worse!

I don't really know any of his family. His mom is completely out of the picture as well as all his siblings. Dad only comes to visit a couple of times a year when gma brings him and has never once written a letter. Gma is very involved with him though and I have never met her, but we email and talk on the phone. She's a bit disfunctional, but has good intentions and is quite sweet.

I like my in laws...But that's about IT, lol. His mother, nana, and father are the only ones I get along with. I can't stand his extended family. I used to get pretty worked up over it, but they really have no effect on our relationship so I don't stress anymore. His father and nana are the one's most present in his life. His step family can kick rocks though, we've been avoiding them for the past 2-3 years!

I love his mom, she and I have become a lot closer since he's been in. She loves me and can't wait for us to get married and have kids lol. she's super excited! She doesn't go to visit him but he doesnt really want that and she has 3 jobs so she is incredibly busy. but she writes him occasionally and she went with me to his parole hearing and was there for me while i cried afterwards.

His dad.. UGH hes "nice" but at the same time hes a jerk. he says offhand comments to everyone when he doesnt like the way people are living(hes very mormon). but at the same time hes a complete asshole that i will NEVER like because he beat Greg and even broke his arm by pushing him down a flight of stairs when he was like 8 years old.

and he ONLY did it to Greg even though he has 7 kids. ugh it disgusts me.

and his stepmom is again "nice" but behind the scenes and sometimes up front she is a B**** and only one kid in the family likes her. the youngest one.

his mom hates them and is really funny about it because you wouldnt expect it from her LOL.

so yeah I LOVE his mom and we get along great, but his dad and stepmom.. UH UH.

We are not married, yet, but she calls me her daughter in law. Right now I'm in her kitchen while she makes me a cake. She yells at me like I'm her child, but turns around and does my laundry.

I have only met them once because they live out of state (which his fine with me!) but they seem nice.

I love my in-laws!!! They are sooo awsome to me and to my man. They havn't gone to see him this time but it's because he told them not to since he didn't get a lot of time this term. They have gone to visit him when he did other terms though. They write him and call me and ask me how he is all the time. They take me out with them and invite me to all their events.

I love his mom, she does sooo much for me and has accepted me from day 2. Day 1 I threw-up on her front porch (long story) lol.

My family isn't really a close family, but his is, and they are the type that once they decide that you are family then that's it, you're in.

Don't even get me started! My fil treats me as his dtr. He's a sweet man. The mil, well thats a different story. It's almost like she's trying to keep a competition going & she throws his ex's & drama in my face. Tells me he's going to be a whore when he comes home. She's trying to get him his own house b/c SHE feels he shouldn't live with me and his sons. I used to visit a lot, take her to the store & help her clean but now I visit every 6-8 wks just so she can see her grandson. I don't need the stress!

my future mother-in-law is a crazy hyper-religious bitch. One of those hypocrites. (I'm a christian. But she's... well. a fanatic.)

she acts like my best friend one moment and the next she's going behind my back saying like terrible things.... I dont' trust her. Neither does David tho, and they've had a bad relationship their whole life.

My in-laws are in love with me but they still don't support him if i didn't support him financially and emotionally he would probably be left for dead,but all they can do is ask for him constantly but no visits,letters or money. I do try my best to maintain a good relationship with them but it gets exhausting at times because the minute i don't do it I become the enemy!!!

I wish they still lived in my state, but they dont.

His dad is hilarious!
This has hit them both very hard. And I hate that.
They are getting up there, and I just hope that hub will be able to see them before they pass.

Were not married yet but I just met his mom after 2 years and I love her. she is a great woman. Kinda difficult but I still love her. She never really went to go see my man. She is 45 min away. When she found out he had a girl he was going to Marry she was excited. Now she goes every other week and even puts money on his books
