Help with financial aid

By fasfa terms ii'm considered an independent student(which ii'd rather not be all this crap their puttin me through) well anyways ii only worked for a little while last year nd my total earnings was around $877 so on my fasfa ii put all zero's in because it wouldn't change the fact that my efc would be 0 or so my counsler said. Well now that ii have my w2's should ii go back nd fill in my earnings or should ii jus leave it as it is.....

now that you have your w-2 you need to fill it in as it is a federal govt document. Cause i have had them tell me that my information doesn't match after i filed for taxes a few years back when i applied. It better to be safe and put everything down.
