On that day I'll feel about 20 years younger than I feel right now.

You touched the very core of everything I worry about.

It might have been in fun at the moment you brought it up, but it is something to discuss, but for me it is real.

I want every woman here who is near my age to inbox me, and please befriend me.

Im not going to grow old gracefully if that was the question.

Default How did I miss this group???

Wow, I've been on PTO for a year now and I never noticed there was a group for those of us doing long bids with our men. This is SO nice! Well, anyway back to the question........If he stays on the straight and narrow like he has been since I arrived in his life he will only have to serve 85% of his time, which puts him on my doorstep around Christmas of 2018. I will be 34 and he will be 41. At first, I wasn't thrilled about the idea of being so old when we finally get to start our life together on the outside. Especially with him wanting kids (he doesn't have any). But it might not be so bad....at 34, I may be in my prime.....who knows?

At our first chance of parole i will be 26 and he'll be 27. At our max out date I'll be 51 and he'll be 52. I know the usually deny parole the first time. I'm really hoping he doesn't max out, but I'm mentally prepared to handle the worst.

Well if he does all the time we still have 11 years. I will be 33 an he will be 39. Still kinda young. But he is going to file an try to get out sooner, if the goes through he will be out in 2 years. I really hope he does get out early.

If he does the max he'll be 60 and I'll be 57. But I know age ain't nothin but a number when it comes to the love we have for each other. So I pray he does good and gets good time release early. It's in BOP hands and God's plans!

Thumbs up

I think the youngest of us are concerned with the aging process and what effects it will have on the relationship.

Should it consume your every thought? NO. The woman that has a husband or bf on the outside has those same concerns in my opinion. He'll be 34 and I'll be 40 something (lol).

I'll be 45 and he will be 43. I can't believe we are finally nearing the end of his 25-life sentence.

If he makes parole, I will be 33 and he will be 47.
He wants four kids. I'll meet him half way.

On his minimum I'll be getting ready to turn 44 and on his max I'll be 60! At 60 it is what it is!!! At 44 I think he might need a younger chick, he wants kids and i won't be having any at that age.

My hubby isn't sentenced yet, and if you notice my ticker I've had quite a bit of time to agonize over how old we'll be when he gets home! I turn 23 this month and he is 26. With good time, we figure "realistically" he could get as little as 5 years, where I would be 26 and he would be 29, which would definitely be livable....but the prosecutor currently will not budge from 20 years. If that happens, I will be 38, almost 39 and he will be about 42. We don't have kids and would like them if at all possible, so I'm REALLY hoping for less time.
